I keep finding myself in the ACWW vs ACNL vs ACNH corners of YouTube and Reddit.
  2. Desqui

But how do I download it.

Guns Akimbo It was entertaining but a bit predictable. I like watching the odd things Daniel Radcliffe stars in.
  4. His family is hiding him? Glad those still exist in Japan.

They privatize the full lengths. There are times where fans say they missed something so they make it public again. This happened when I first started watching though, they'll leave a ton of regular lengths up (me thinking they'll stay forever 🥺), then they become summaries like that! Then someone gets on top of it and only 1-2 videos will remain full length. Well, this is what I'm expecting anyway. Surely someone somewhere was saving all this!! Yes. I tend to look at the comments to try and figure out the details of the conversation or I may tune out until I hear something I understand. I know I'm missing a lot of info, but I'm way over trying to follow 100% xD I like to think my listening skills have slightly improved too. But yeah, with no japanese knowledge details are lost BUT you can still laugh at the silliness and some joking around doesn't need translation. @suji you recorded some of the summaries or the full lengths?

I know! I wish I knew then what I know now (how to ... ahem... save videos) because I want ALL of Yuu's guitar playing videos It also seems like before they were doing nightly episodes, they showed Merry's past history videos?? Which has led me here to ask if Anyone saved All of it? I know they don't delete the videos off the account. When I saved Gara's first solo tube, it only switched to a private video. I've shamefully thought about trying to hack it lol The more I've been watching though, the sadder I get because now they're promoting their fall tour and then the final live, Kenichi's last, and it's not like I can go!

It would definitely help lower the chances of false hope and sadness.

I told myself I wouldn't think about the villagers as if they're real but I've become slightly invested... Since I'm more of a fishing/bug catching type of player, I'll only buy something if it fits as a villager's gift. Even now when I go try and get free stuff from someone's island, I'm thinking "Oh, this will work well with Gloria's style." Ok self... I found out I got 4 stars today, but I don't know how. I've been terraforming, but I'm not much of a decorator. I like to leave things where they fall, see... So I hope I randomly stumble into five stars as I go about doing nothing... what's 5 stars for again? rare flowers? And if any one wants to be friends, I don't have cool stuff, but I can hang.
  9. I want to change my life :( Just start fresh with a new arrangement.

Anyone able to watch the WOWOW live stream?
  11. Desqui

Ah, I didn't know there was a time span. I wonder how many people will still be playing. I think for me I did the right thing buying it a little later because I LOVED diving in New Leaf so I didn't have to wait too long for it to return and at first I didn't like how we have to craft (I have to craft/repair in all my other games! why too in AC? T__T), but now I really like collecting DIYs, and in fact, crafting makes the game Slower ❤️ lol I don't mind that. Hmm, how did we get tools in NL? Did we just buy them? I remember not getting a few bugs or fish and patiently anticipating the Next Year to catch them. I'd plan for a year. lol But I think it's somehow easier to get "rare" bugs and fish in NH, similar to how easy to get them it was just by going to Tortimer's island (I guess that makes them not rare tho?), and I worry a little that it will cut down how long I'll play the game.

    Hahahahah!

I did it. I made the thread. Post all your AC qualms and non qualms here. What's happening with you I just got New Horizons a few weeks ago for the first time ever playing when everyone else is so I can actually make bells off turnips, visit people, have visitors, and gather so much crap then fly off and dump it on someone else. While it's fun to be part of the hype at the time of the hype, and it's great knowing exactly what I want is a DM away, I'm already tuning out discord, YT (bunch of USELESS videos anyway!), etc to get back to the AC slow life. Especially the newest update bringing in everybody's complaints about the game, maybe it's just the new fans but dang everybody needs to chill. However I'm thinking I should gain as much turnip bells now before everyone jumps off the NH train so I can continue playing bell stress free for the next 5 years. If I wasn't playing this I'd be playing Morrowind or Skyrim, and in Skyrim I was on a search for every iron ore vein on horse going back and forth to my house to drop it off, so walking around my island to hit 6 stones in a fancy get up is very happy-go-lucky in comparison.
  14. 😭 I haven't been following Versailles since forever but hearing everyone's voice, them adressing their international fans, kamijo singing along at the end,  it was 1000x better than the other streams I've been watching even without video 😭😭😭 💕💕💕

  15. I love these! Yes, someone remind me to purchase.
  16. e_e I don't really watch Kdramas but I got into one recently and now everyone around me isn't speaking English anymore.

  17. Omg my cousin could cosplay this. He's white/filipino tho. Heck he could just Be this all day everyday.

I've never successfully reached "minimalism" but I've read and watched almost all of it. I've been in the purge state for the last few years. I always thought it was my closet that needed reworking but that proved the easiest to minimize. Even before the minimalism trend though I think I started off with a more death cleaning concept (or... suicide cleaning... if you're ok getting dark) and I found a book on that even in the library focusing on old folks not placing a burden on their loved ones after they pass. These days I want to spend more time doing other things than worrying about all my stuff - and I'm worrying about getting rid of it! Like "if I just lost X lbs my life would be better" kind of thinking is what minimalism is to me, and I think because of that I can't complete it. I think it's a lie. Or I don't want to die. Or I don't want to live. Something like that.

I can't find it anywhere to share 😭 the Pumpkin Head - シャムザール青年と生活習慣病 (Shamzaaru seinen to seikatsu shuukanbyou)

In its heyday there were tons and tons of VK lyric translations and people scanning every page of VK magazines and translating some articles. Translating DVD messages and interviews and the random obscure blogposts. Loads of illegal downloading and/or finding that one person attending lives and willing to collect and ship live merch. Live reports. Albeit all online. Losing these people and sites that offered all this I believe is what made VK inaccessible for new fans. From what I can tell too it's very hard for an act to go overseas, if they could even think of going. If they'd even Think of going - VK is still very pro Japan (only). The big guys maybe yeah no problem but part of the fun is finding the niche little guys. Don't you remember? Going major meant you were a sell out! I'm not sure what Kpop has but it's not like suddenly everybody knows Korean like they knew Japanese. The Kpop world is front page stuff. VK has always been underground. Kpop also has the advantage of many Korean americans or Korean what nation have you that know English-s. Lots of Kpop Koreans know English way better than VK Japanese know English. So getting Kpop stuff is far more easily accessible and it has a better broader global attitude. They scout the globe. Maybe a more equal comparison would be Jpop fans moving to Kpop? I'm assuming Jpop is front page stuff too and they have better English speakers than VK.

You're killing my dreams here! Whatever year Batsu was supposed to bring over Moi dix Mois is when I first started seeing the shift. It seemed more like if you couldn't get into VK then you'd go for something more positive and poppy like Kpop but your moody friend would be into VK. It's like Disney lovers. VK has cross dressing xP Can't have mom and dad see that!

@solaris05 🤣 Family or VK? Family or VK? 🤔

This reminded me that when I first got into Japanese music, I'd (we'd?) look up the defunct classic bands and see which members were involved with which band, then that band would get popular among the fanbase. Are upcoming og members training anyone anymore? Like I got into Joker/Screw and I'd open the pamphlet to make sure Thanks to Kagerou was on there. Baiser->Rentrer en Soi comes to mind as well. As for me, I was already into late night electronic & alt rock on the radio so it was very easy to transition to most VK bands in HS. I mellowed out a bit in college and I still like like my old homie bay area 106 kmel ghetto beats. Koop is too poppy and their alt rock is... too alt? But better than the kpop-- but I only listen to Korean music I associate with my stay there. In general, that stuffs not "dark" enough for me lol so I guess you have to already have a taste for it. I do question how someone could jump so easily from Older VK to Kpop but maybe we were listening to dif things or the new VK scene is just That boybandy. I don't think I'll phase out of VK until there stop being Connections. This is the only genre where for some reason I care what members are doing sometimes. I think it's silly but they made it easier with social media! Actually, maybe I'm already phased out. I don't know the new folks, Screw was the last one I think. Now I just surprise myself with oldies or an album from a band I used to listen to but never got around to X release. I can't justify geeking out about something bran spanking new on the music scene anymore. Or I'm lazy. Or I'm done dealing with new-er stuff. I'm just freaking old already, ok?
  24. I don't know how these fair in Norway, but I've grown to like them. I was supposed to make a trip out there before all the virus stuff, not for music, but I'm still stuck in a Norwegian curiosity phase.

Oh, are you in Japan? I wish I could be in attendance for one.
