Unforgettable indeed! HAHAHA I met my first two online and then we met up for lives. The third was pure chance. That's all I got. None of these people know each other. It's tough. lol It really comes down to the type of person, though. I do believe age/maturity can be a factor too. Some visual kei fans come off too strong and unfriendly. There's also the many different, what should I call them, tribes. On the other hand, I have had some people say, Oh you like that kind of music? Well, they sound just like a band I like here, don't they? and then you're spoonfed their playlists that is full of nothing I would ever pick on my own. I know, they want to be nice and discuss music with me. Maybe I'm too sensitive. Maybe I'm the close-minded one in those cases..... But worry not, you will find them. They are searching too. When you meet, it will be like a breath of the freshest air you've ever breathed.

Thank you Delkmiroph. doombox, I have had someone once tell me I listen to demons. My first reaction thought was, "How do you know what demons sound like?" I guess some people know. It really does make a difference whether your interest is received positively or negatively, though. I can count on my hand the number of friends I can confide in now with my finds -if necessary. But usually it isn't. More for me. haha Show someone a PV however and it can become a whole 'nother story. I hope you find some accepting friends. Even just one can brighten your day tremendously. Thank you CAT5. I will definitely be checking those out.

Hello everyone. You can call me Desqui, or DS, or DQ, it doesn't matter. I've known about this forum for a long time and maybe have even signed up for it a long time ago with a now-defunct/lost password email address. It seems to be quite active so I decided to sign up with a username instead of roaming as a guest. Hmm.. I might try an old username to see if it works. I am not new to Japanese music forums, but currently I can't say I am into anyone at the moment. I've only recently taken out my CD collection and one song on a burned CD labeled ~Random Indies~ stood out to me. It was Lab. the basement's "Wheel of Fortune". So after looking them up, finding the lyrics, trying to find CDs to buy (the album I want is nowhere, of course, but crazy expensive HMV has a maxi-single I could be satisfied with), I remembered audioleaf and that lead me to the J-indies thread here. I log into Scapeforums from time to time, but don't really post. Anyways, my taste usually does not roll over into pop music, but at this point I'm probably evaluating sounds on an mp3 by mp3 basis than by genre type. I am hoping to restart my quest for new music. As a time reference, I think I gave up once Gazette got popular, but even by then my taste had changed so that for me to call myself only a visual kei fan would not be the whole truth. I feel old, unknowledgeable, and old. As a sound reference, I like both of these: UnsraW - In the fact Fishmans-土曜日の夜 Don't tell anyone. It's a secret. When it sounds like someone is seriously curious as to what kind of music I like, I give them tracks from Dir-bandthatmustnotbenamed. I don't know why I dislike sharing the real treasure I find with anyone. I want them to myself. I am selfish like that now. Maybe it's because my collection isn't growing or I don't know how to describe my taste or I don't want them to like it too or something. I am getting better though, at sharing. Nice to meet you all.
