Haven't listen to vistlip much, but checked this out and really liked that I ordered a copy Wish it wasn't so expensive for 4 songs, but whatever lol. Can't wait to listen to the full versions!

I think you missed the part where most of us were talking about bands that have released something in 2015. Maybe a few mentioned the last couple of years. But was never personally a big fan of most of the bands you mentioned in the first place, save B-T, cali gari, and D'erlanger. Also interesting about the metalcore reference since most people have said that same thing about every new trend that came into vk. Nu-metal, electronics, etc. The music scene will always revolve around selling current trends, it's one of the few ways they continue to gain new fans. But I can understand how you feel your favorite style is getting left behind... and you're probably right, for now. I do think some bands are trying to keep a trve aesthetic about them, but they seem to be fairly rare at the moment. Hopefully they'll pick back up whenever the metalcore trend ultimately fades out.

ahh i'm waiting for my copy (little hearts is unbelievably slow..). yes i've heard the preview and it's certainly closer to Belmosaic than the last mini album! still not really a fan of the aesthetics i've gotta say ._. i'll wait till i hear the whole thing before i can say what i think XD
 
anyway here's the thing about Xaa-Xaa: i might not be able to get into the stuff they're doing right now but i'm elated to see the attention they're getting. one thing i can't really understand is how often you hear people say of a band they used to like 'oh shit the band just went in a direction i hate - i hope they disband soon' - as if the raison detre of a band is to create music for that one individual. if you like them, great; if not, move on to something else. there's too much music out there to be listened to and too little time to waste on useless complaining.

ooo, which Lilith? the chinese band or XI/Kei's band? (there are at least 2 other Liliths but they have disbanded so i assume you aren't talking about them)
 
these 2 years have seen a lot of my favorite bands disbanding (Xepher, LUCHe., EVE, Diz, etc.), as well as a couple of bands that have gone in a direction that isn't really my thing (Belmosaic -> Xaa-Xaa, METEOROID -> MeteoroiD, Ray℃ -> zigzag) fortunately the sheer number of bands in the scene means that songs are being released at a rate 10 times faster than Trombe can do news updates - so rather than moping over the loss of my favorites, i always try to find new bands to get into. one of the most mind-boggling claims that people love circulating, usually without the tiniest shred of supporting evidence, is that 'vk today all sounds the same', which is just plainly untrue. there's enough out there to please almost everyone, do some work and you'll be rewarded.

This is my first time preordering from Brand X. I preordered two CDs and one CD that was already released.
Paid for them. They were released yesterday, and usually Brand X has been good about telling me when they ship orders and giving me the tracking number. But haven't heard from them. Emailed them. Do they sometimes forget to tell you they've shipped orders?

When I first got into the scene, my whole family thought I was gay for liking visual kei. 
My dad ended up really liking Dir en grey. That was about it. 
 
Now that I've been away from my family for years, no one really knows about my tastes in Japanese music except for my boyfriend. He thinks it's really cool and even enjoys some of the bands. When coworkers or friends ask me what kind of music I like, I always tell them of the Western artists I listen to. Never saw the point in telling people about something they most likely won't be interested in. 

I truly wonder what makes people so damaged on the inside that they have to distance themselves from new people because they fear that they'll get hurt again. Sadly we're missing out on getting to know a great person because of the people that have impacted them from their past so much that they refuse to open up, even after the longest times. Wish I could get to see more people in their full potential/feelings.
