I was there last summer to the end of autumn. August to December. It was brutal in the late months of the summer. The humidity is so bad. I will highly recommend you invest in a tiny bag (or purse) to hold a small hand/face towel. Also a small thing of deodorant at all times. You'll use it. Most venues have coin lockers in and/or around them, as do train stations, so you'll have a place to stash the bag before lives. The worst thing is that the trains are usually air conditioned, so you'll be sweaty and then cold when you get in the trains.
Don't let that deter you from going out and exploring, though! Always wear sun block if you're going to be outside for any length of time, but never turn up any opportunity to go anywhere. I had so much fun just walking and getting lost. Google maps works everywhere, so even if I didn't know where I was, I was always able to get home.

@Komorebi Well I'll be there for two weeks from 8/8-8/21 so I mean if the stars align, let's meet up and cry about the heat together. (though the heat will either suck the tears up or they'll just blend in with the humidity on our faces)

Idk. I'm waiting for Jiluka to drop the live and instore dates before booking. They're the only reason I'd put up with that weather. 

August is a harsh time to be in Japan. I would go through three shirts a day because of the humidity. Ugh. And then your clothes never dry. But still, have fun and enjoy yourself again. I envy you.

@yakihikoMY HARLOT BROKER AND BELLAMY WERE MY JAM OMG. When it comes to VK I feel like you and I have very similar tastes which is kinda rare for me to find anymore. haha

@The Reverend Not only VKing but I would say he is also a Vk chameleon, he can make different music styles in different bands without losing his potential.
 
@The Reverend @togz I'm still haven't pick a favorite between MHBI and CPS, but for favorite line up, would be MBHI; most favorite songs, would be CPS. I love to death ベラミー, In My Dream, 溺れる魚 and My Harlot Broker, those a rare gems that you can no longer find into the recent vk scenes.

Yeah CPS was my favorite too. The music was really unique and I felt like he really used his vocals to their full potential. If I'm not mistaken though... their disbandment had more to do with their drummer????? I wonder if CPS woulda BEEN THE ONE had that worked out differently. Tenten looks like he hasn't aged... but I know he has some health problems and he's def getting older.

I say it's only a matter of time knowing him.

Y'know... CPS (the best Tenten band IMHO) have a surprisingly large discography for someone who gets a rap as never sticking with a band (which is still well-deserved at times.)
 
Also Tenten never doesn't look like he's 14 years old... so I hope he's got a decade of VKing in him yet.

He’s getting close to not being able to disband anymore before people start throwing in the towel with him.

@togzSame, my major thinking regarding LACK-CO disband, is if he would drop off the music scene. If I can recall right, so far this is his 7th band.

Then he goes out with his shittiest band ever and that really is sad.

I don't even talk to peeps on there anymore. Someone tried to say twitter fandom was worse while Tumblr fandom was rainbows and memes. Like, we're all horrible here, but tumblr has that...self righteous attitude and I got tired.
