I remember when they came in 2016 there was like an instagram pic of the Toronto airport or flag or something the day of. Nothing mentioned after. Then like tons of NYC pics and messages a day or two after the Toronto show lol. I was like "oh ok.."

So it really doesn't surprise me that they messed up the cities tbh haha.

As much as I stan them, their names make me super embarrassed, especially Ricko's, which in Spanish is read as "rico" and means "tasty", but in Chilean Spanish it's also an adjective for a hot dude (but like, Hollywood type, not VK type of hot).
I gotta ask Boogie about his, cuz it really gives me second hand embarrassment to say out loud.

I am feeling so nostalgic right now, haha. It's not surprising that so many of us came into VK between 2006-2009—The music from that period was just so good, so original that it was blowing up everywhere. Coupled with the interest in other hardcore/metalcore bands overseas, it was the perfect setting. I wonder if we will ever make it back here again.

While writing up  blurbs for this list, we came to the conclusion that 2008 was a golden year for visual kei. So many good things were released or happening during that time. This took so long to come out because every time one of us was done, another person snuck in a blurb or two. If we didn't cut ourselves off, I'm sure we would have wrote a bit about everything released that year. I'm not expecting 2009's retrospective to have this many blurbs.

Honestly liking that clip better than anything on their last album.

I had a friend pick two of them up for me at a heidi. live for me when their Nijiiro Rain single came out in 2016 and I was able to download the files alright (I'm in Canada), but the description for this on CDJapan's website is freaking me out:

"Important Notes for M Card: No refund is possible after this product is sent. The record company designed and optimize it for the market within Japan. They do not guarantee that it works outside of Japan."

I'm a little cautious about this one, honestly. I don't like the fact that it's non-refundable, though I get why UGH I really want to get it though

The band have announced two releases ! They will hold four lives to celebrate Chisa's birthday in Shinbuya and Okinawa. Hal's birthday will be hold on 2019.04.05 at Shinjuku clubScience.
They have also planned a mini tour : Nagoya, Osaka, Sendai, Fukuoka.
To celebrate their second anniversary, a live at Daikan'yama UNIT wil be held on 2019.05.05.

Couldn't agree with you more. New Onmyou-za is always a treat and I thoroughly enjoy both their consistency and each of their releases.

I remember hearing Kouga Ninpuchou way back when I was an un-learned weaboo and it blew my nerdy socks off. This album is no different – It's got plenty of power, and a lot more Matatabi than usual. Whereas I can get a little 'sick' of Kuroneko's vocals after repeated listening, he never gets old for me. There's just something about his very samurai-esque voice that works so well with the music they make.

Very colorful for them—The album artwork and the video. The song is good though, if not a bit mediocre (by their standards)

Hopefully that's a more thematic decision than a running-out-of-content decision... I want Demo #3 and #4!

This is seriously good though. My only question is if this will top the first mini in terms of enjoyment? I think that was my most played CD of 2016.
