D8 MIND BLOWN. Or I'm an idiot w/e -
Woah look at those. Love it.
-
The new songs they've been playing have been top-notch. I have my hopes up for this new album.
-
I'm liking this. Nice to see ex-12012 and DELUHI together; somehow I don't see it sounding like either of those bands though.
-
Gyaaaaaah can't wait to get my copy
-
New favorite name for a Japanese band.
-
PRISMATIC make me think I'm listening to SID. But that's okay.
-
High production values are wasted on a song like this. I know they have the potential to be so much more than they are; CodeRebirth, DELUHI & UNDIVIDE were all killer bands, it's just not adding up.
Maybe they haven't found themselves yet? I just hope they do before they disband D: -
Still going strong after all these years! I'm pumped for this.
-
The hell? I'm so sick of this happening. Finally find a new band I like (a lot) and BAM, NOPE - BYE. UGH.

*screams*
its between additional cause for sorrow and momouku no hane to hoshi wo te ni
*twitches* i love deadman so much i will NEVER get over them.
Totally agree. The begininning of 'Moumoku...', when Mako utters the song title and the guitar kicks in *UNF* gives me goosebumps to this day.
If only they knew how monumental they were to the movement out here. I remember when I first heard them, I really didn't get the 'Nagoya' sound. When I finally learned to appreciate what they were doing I went Nagoya and never looked back.
When'd they disband again, 2006? Earlier?
-
This isn't what I was expecting. It's defs not MBHI sounding to me either (not bad though)
-
We have really similar tastes between the heidi./aie/Kagerou/Sadie! Welcome aboard.
I'm Canadian too, Alberta to be exact = D -
Ryutarou definitely got some Plastic Sur-ger-tree done (excuse me).
Sometime after Chandelier his chin became very pointy. -
Hell yes! Hoping for some heavy tracks. Kuroneko has a great voice but I think this band really shines when Matatabi takes the mic.
-
Ah damn. I'm seeing them in May but that's just too late. PV though!
-
Man I am getting tired of not being able to get their stuff...
Got that right. Too much potential here to forget about these guys.
-
I more or less agree with you on every track. I just can't get into Thrashing pumpkin death march no matter how hard I try to like it.
Insomnia blues/float are two of my favorite songs in recent memory for sure.
-
Looks like the other MBHI guys didn't split with Tenten on bad terms, I guess that's good.
-
Thanks peeps! Judging by everyone's answers, it seems like 'Maxi-single' is pretty convoluted term (In the VK world, anyway)
I'm sure I haven't been the first to ask and definitely won't be the last, hah. -
I've been wondering this for years, but never received anything other than an ambiguous answer. Maybe someone (or everyone) can tell me:
What's the difference between a single and a maxi-single?inartistic reacted to this -
I've been following your site since 2007, keep up the great work!
-
You're all so nice! Thanks for taking me on. I'm really looking forward to being a part of the community.
Hi
More one kurage tori to join with me here in MH forum
What is the best album them to you ?
Enjoy in this heave
It's probably ammonite, then Nega to Poji, echo and Ink. They just get better with age : ) Hakusei's growing on me too.

Hi Everyone,
I'm Steve, a graphic designer from Canada who's been into Visual Kei for about 10 years. I'm new to the forums, but I've been creeping everything for a little over 2 years (I'm shy, or stupid or something). I'm finally working from home, so I figured I'd have more time to waste on the internet, and thus, get active on MH!
My top 3 bands that I couldn't live without:
1. heidi.2. Plastic Tree
3. lynch.
I like to consider the 2004-2009ish era my personal 'golden age' for VK, so most of my favorite bands are from that era and are as follows. Those are my top three in order, but the rest are a toss up!
PIERROT
cali≠gari
12012
DEATHGAZED'espairsRay
deadman
9GOATS BLACK OUT
DELUHI
MERRY
girugämesh
蜉蝣 (Kagerou)
The GazettE
-OZ-
Sadie
NoGoD
ケミカルピクチャーズ
人格ラヂオ
陰陽座 (Onmyo-za)
As far as 'newer' bands go (I'm getting old), these guys are alright by me:
AvelCain
Develop One's Faculties
DEZERT
DIV
HOLLOWGRAM
KEEL
My BACTERIA HEAT IsLAND
Umbrella
黒百合と影 (Kuroyuri to Kage)
- - -I like regular J-Rock too (AKFG, FACT, etc.) and as far as English music goes, I mostly like 90's era shoegazing goodness (Ride, Chapterhouse, mbv, etc.) and a little Ringo Deathstarr/Fleeting Joys.
Japanese Rock has been a part of my life for a really long time, and I owe it to sites like this for keeping the love alive! I'm glad to be a part of it nao. Sorry for the band-spam! I like lists and paragraphs. See you in the forums
6 Disbandments that Really Sucked

D'espairsRay, hands down. DELUHI was just salt in my wounds.
Like doombox states, D'espairsRay were a pillar of the dark side of visual kei for me and opened my eyes to darker, heavier bands and just heavier music in general actually.
And even though their not on this list, PIERROT's disbandment will always sting.
