I've been wondering if this means that they, together as a band, won't be performing on stage anymore - or - they, each as an individual, thus no new bands, won't be performing on stage anymore?

Am I the only one who is personality-wise not really impressed with this season? I like all the Queens, especially Bob and ChiChi (and damn Naomi is pretty). Of course, all of them are talented and no one majorly fucked up yet, but idk, I love the really cool and funny Queens that (not so) secretly are mother hens (Bianca or Katya - Bob is hilarious but imo missing that mean edge that comes more natural to other funny queens) and of course I'd lie if I didn't think Laganga-drama is funny and I'd like to see more of that - I can't specifically point out what you said, but I know whatever you said really hurt me! Anyways, I think Acid went home too soon, but I couldn't wait for Thorgy to go.. (I'm also not quite over last season which was one of my favourites.) (But high five for Derrick being in a polyamorous relationship - still annoying though) Whatever. Flaseda.

Oh, I remember this. Back in the day I thought those were space capsules and Kyo was leaving us for a more trve planet. One of my biggest wtf moments was MUCC getting two new band members for what felt like 3 minutes before they were like "lol jk".

I don't have a preference.. Whenever I think I might have a preference, or even just a type, someone not fitting that type comes along with all his/ her hotness and any preference I had is gone. Currently I'm feeling black guys a bit more but generally race just doesn't matter to me. Like, I thought I'm not that into gingers but now I have a red headed coworker whom I find totally attractive (shagging your coworker/ boss - y/y?). Generally, how attractive I find a person can change drastically after they open their mouth. Nothing turns me on more than intellect and nothing turns me off quicker than ignorance, sex- and racism. So, I guess my preference is 'massive brain and knows how to use it'

Shinya is so beautiful, I don't know if I want be him or be with him... The struggle is real. I'll buy the dvd, cut together the clips of Shinya and play it 24/7 in one continuous, creepy Edward-Cullen-I'll-watch-you-when-you're-sleeping loop.

^ Oh, it appears to be the same for me. The first JRock CD I ever bought and listened to was Coll:set which came out roughly 10 years ago. My random thought though is that Gackt's instagram is a an unhealthy mixture between hilarious and ridiculous. Bros n sisters.

yeah but that is the front row for you - especially front row of Dir en Grey. As I said, I can understand that people want to do the front row experience, I've tried that too. But at the end of the day I wanna have a sick time and enjoy myself and that is much better, for me, at the back, even if that means that I can only see them from crotch (or in Kyo's case: chest) upwards because there will always be that pushing in the front, doesn't matter if it's guys of girls who do the pushing. As I said, I think the problem is the fan-attitude that the scene has. Usually the huge guys know that they are huge and let me e.g. who is more on the tiny side, in front of them (or they stand further in the back to begin with because huge metal guys are usually super chill) and there is less pushing from girls as well, but with DeG everyone turns into a fucking arsehole who just wants to be in the front row, I guess... But then again, yesterday the guy next to me offered to switch places with me because there were two tall guys in front of me: the cool people are in the back, come join us again the next time ;P

^ no I have never been to a concert in Japan. But acting out a choreography with a bunch of other people does not appeal to me at all. I like "losing control" at metal/ rock concerts which means doing whatever the hell I want. If what you want to do is acting in sync with other people than that's fine with me but I'm tired of people complaining about "western-ways" at western concerts... There is enough room at the venue for everyone to do their own thing. I like headbanging as well. You can have headbanging an moshing in one concert. I was in the back yesterday and we all pretty much headbanged the whole time (my neck hurts like bitch now) and had enough space around us. Is it really a surprise to you that there is a lot of pushing going on in the front rows with everyone trying to be the closest to the band? - I did not really see a proper moshpit anyway.... People were jumping into each other a bit, I guess, and because it was so tight in the front rows and no circle formed people got pushed around a lot. If you want to fault anything you should fault the fangirling/boying (not trying to insult anyone, but what was up with all the 16y/o boys who were there - I though the scene is getting older with the artists, but apparently we are getting "fresh meat" as well :> ) which means that people do not move an inch and only try to push forward which creates pushing and tightness. It was perfect in the back and the view was good as well.... Edit: I also do not want to argue about this again, as I said I accept all the views of all the people but I'm just tired of being called out for liking moshpits at metal concerts.

HAHAHA my thoughts today: "Since when did Dir en Grey become a band that males listen to?" - I have no clue what the ratio in the front rows was, but in the back it was 50/50 male/female. I like it, it always feels weird for me to be in a crowd of people whose high pitched screams for the band members disrupt the general noise during song changes - because I am not like that at all. Dir en Grey, to me, is metal and metal, to me, means people that mosh. Especially after Mucc last night with five japanese girls who took control of the pit (making it bigger and more room before giving everyone the go) I do not think there is a specific japanese way....

The gig in Essen, Germany, yesterday was easily the best live that I have ever been to -and I am not just counting j-rock concerts. The crowd was amazing: we had a massive circle and mosh pit. Everyone, including the band, loved it. When they came back for the encore Miya promised that they are going to put the footage of this live on their next DVD. A staff member also interviewed people after the concert with a video camera - I am assuming that is also for a potential DVD extra footage? At this point I would also like to remark that I once had a discussion about pits at jrock concerts with some girls on Facebook and they said that the bands (she specifically mentioned Mucc) do not like them: Tatsuro asked for the circle pit ("are you ready to circle mosh?!?")- not that he had to- so there you go random fb girl: I was right. Yukke was super happy that there were so many "guys" (I think he meant "males" instead of "people") and then said "I wanna marry you" ... That might have been his outing guys! Haha. Ehhh.. What else... ... ... THEY PLAYED DAIKIRAI!#!!!!! I never would have thought that I would see this song live <<<333 ugh They played it as one of 4 songs during the encore Uhhh... Guys, daikirai!!!! - I've seen them for the first time in 2007 and even then it was so unrealistic to hear daikirai live because it is so old. But yesterday they did play it ughhh <3 Btw their new song DFD starts out heavy-ish with guitar riffs but then has melodic parts and electronicy parts as well, but it always comes back to the heavier bit. It sounds really good!

^Sorry, I honestly can't remember (drugs are bad.. jk I don't do drugs... or do I?). Eh but eh,.. one was a bit mixed so it had... slow melodic parts and scream/growl-ish parts. I guess that is not very helpful.... They did not necessarily blow my mind - I usually prefer songs like Mad Yack and Mrs Fear - however, it was the first time that I've heard them so idk I'll see them again on Sat (if everything with my flight works out) so I'll try to pay better attention if they play them again...

I, for a change like the final. For me it's their signature song and a lot of people probably would like to hear it live because of that. So I don't mind hearing it again on Sunday. I also don't see why a "shorter" setlist is so bad, their songs are with overall over four minutes (two songs are between five and six minutes) longer than those of some other japanese bands that come overseas. I do not expect them to pull a Dream Theater and play for three hours. Also, why should they not play their new album? It's their 6 months old album, I would expect them to play it. They have been overseas in 2014 (Australia) and 2013 (EU and America) - why would they play older songs? It's not like they have been holed up in Japan for 5 years like Mucc. However, what I would like to know (the stuff above is more on the rhetorical side) is if they have that support artist for the London gig on Sunday?

^ Yes, I don't believe in them either but.. I'm fascinated with conspiracy theories haha. Definitely going to read up on Eyes Wide Shut, for some reason (Tom Cruise?) that film tends to get overlooked by me, but you're right, it is a wicked one. Kubrick was definitely a great director, the composition of the scenes, the colours and the cuts really leave an impression. It's hard to fine good films nowadays with Hollywood banging out one and the same type of action flick over and over again. And since I don't have much time to check out all the new releases I mostly end up with the generic ones which leave me disappointed... I think Kubrick's way of composing the scenes adds a lot to why there are so many theories surrounding is work - look at me, bemoaning the 'good old times'. For the record, I'm not saying there aren't any good new releases out there, they are just harder to find since they haven't withstood the test of time yet.

I've recently watched The Shining,.. again. I really like the film and I also, especially, like the book. I'm kind of a fan of the conspiracy theories surrounding the film - faking the moon landing and the shining being Kubrick's "confession" (do I believe in it? Not really, but I appreciate the effort the conspiracy theorists make and I like to watch out for the instances they see as 'evidence' for their case). Though, I do believe in the underlying theme of child abuse... The father-son relationship feels just wrong. However, I still think Jack Nicholson was a bad cast for Jack, not because I think he is a bad actor, but because I feel like he does not bring across the transition from "fairly normal weird" to "full fledged psycho weird". He's psycho right from the beginning.
