Album cover looks okay.

The performance with Rammstein was just odd. I don't really like Rammstein but thankfully you didn't hear their influence much.

The main thing is that they played in front of the wrong audience... on a show they really should have avoided. It's not like he's going to get more fans or something from an event like that. The whole thing was out of place.

Thanks for the info! :) Hmm seems a tiny bit long for my taste but hopefully they'll manage to keep the songs interesting to justify their lengths.

like yeah, IWTKYLTDITM is one of my all time favorites.

this includes Para-Noir and RTTEOTW.

I really liked IWTKYLTDITM on the first few listens, then it quickly got boring and annoying for me (same for RTTEOTW). But I agree, Para-Noir is awesome (well anyway that album is one of my faves from Manson, all in all).

some photos of an album booklet have leaked. not sure if I'm allowed to post those.

according to the credit page Manson wrote all the lyrics which is pretty usual.

then, Manson alone wrote music for three tracks: Pistol Whipped, Children Of Cain and Disengaged.

the rest of the tracks was written either by Ramirez alone or by Ramirez and Manson.

Vrenna did some additional writing for all the tracks except those written by Manson alone.

Sablan also made a writing cameo on Slo-Mo-Tion.

speaking of You're So Vain bonus track.

drums were recorded by Johnny Depp and Jason Sutter, who happens to be Manson's session drummer on a tour.

bass recorded by Bruce Witkin (not sure of who this guy is).

keyboards by Manson and Witkin. guitars by Depp, Manson and Witkin.

^ Oh cool, thanks for the leaked/insider info. :)

Manson uploaded some new photos of himself today too, by the way (twitter/facebook).

edit: if anyone's curious just look up "born villain" on Tumblr, the leaked CD images are pretty easy to find/identify.

^ Niiice~ :)

Also, Manson just tweeted the YT link for the No Reflection music video!

DOj3wDlr_BM

It's set to private at the moment, but will be available at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (that's like an hour and a half later?).

edit: not bad. Pretty interesting/creepy vid. I liked it (even though I'm still not too fond of the song).

Yeah video's great, but the song is still pretty awful. By far it's the weakest single the band has ever put out. It wouldn't haven't been so bad if they hadn't attempted to put a catchy hook in there with those ah ahs. It' just fails and makes the song fall flat. Though it does have an old mason type of vibe.

mexican iTunes Store offers 1,5 minute long samples of all Born Villain tracks.

the album is.. weird o_O as for now, not sure if in a good or a bad way.

anyways, seems like Twiggy didn't lie when he said it would be a kind of MA without sounding too pretentious.

enjoy:
