saishuu 3220 Posted September 20, 2017 (edited) Japan's most talented and popular pop star (next to Utada Hikaru), Namie Amuro is gonna retire in 2018 after 25 (!) years. Japan is officially beyond repair. A new album and tour will be released next year. Her full announcement can be read below. I don't even know lol I guess people started assuming she'd retire once she turned 40, which she is now. Who knows. Girl is probably tired as hell, her last tour alone went on for over 100 shows.
