Which songs do you like to karaoke or feel pretty confident about? WhirlingBlack 1043 Posted July 1, 2017 I'm not PARTICULARLY good at any of them but I enjoy singing them all. I try to do as many all night karaokes as humanly possible every time I'm in Japan and basically attempt anything that doesn't contain a lot of growling. I mostly do Dir en grey since that's what I'm most familiar with lyrics-wise in advance but I always try to go along with anything VK other people choose too. violetchain 912 Posted July 9, 2017 I'm not much of a singer and I don't go to karaoke often, but I did okay with L'Arc~en~Ciel's "Blurry Eyes" once. I sang along to it so many times in my teens that the words are firmly embedded in my mind, so it didn't really matter that I couldn't read the kanji on the screen. apple-wa 10 Posted July 9, 2017 None? My range is so limited, and all the vocalists either sing too low or too high. I just sound like a croaky frog when I try. Not that that stops me. Sparrow 83 Posted July 13, 2017 I tend to stick to slower songs so I can keep up with reading the lyrics. The one exception to that is Sayonara Rain by Merry. I always liked singing along to the piano version in the car so I know it better than a lot of other fast songs. plastic_rainbow 2162 Posted July 13, 2017 ohh man i miss karaoking :< i am by no means good at singing but i do enjoy singing most of plastic tree's songs, particularly yume no shima, andro metamorphose, and bambi. there's literally a tag for pierrot's yuuyami suicide on last.fm saying "songs i like to sing" so i tried it out one night and now it's one of my faves to sing as well! i haven't tried singing a lot of vk songs because they're too fast for me and i suck lol. but i tried some slower songs like "reila" by the gazette, and "これを依存と呼ぶなら" by mejibray a couple times, which were quite fun. i really wish i could go karaoking again so i could master all of these and try out more songs.
