Its again this time of the year , so i though lets make something out of it , so anyone can post here his or hers favorite japanesse/korean winter and xmas songs , original or covers whatever suits you . Post this as a link to youtube or other streaming sites , if its nowhere to be found post just the title . I could post around 300 songs cause ive had 3 full mp3 cds but it would be now fun if i would be the only one posting the songs i know , so lets start the xmas time on MH right now .

The lyrics are not Christmasy at all (I'm pretty sure the song was used to promote jewellery), but it is one of my "winter songs," plus it brings back memories of Christmas 2010, and experiencing my very first hangover a few weeks before that time lol. Also, it was first released as a single in December, so I guess it's still appropriate...

Yeah, I don't have much music that's technically "Christmasy," it's usually just music that evokes memories of past Decembers. I listen to something or discover it during that month and years later, I'm reminded of Christmas. Full-length album examples include: I started listening to Dir en grey's 鬼葬 and Opeth's watershed around Christmas-time in 2008. To this day, both albums remind me of that time.

lol I know, 空中ブランコ is not a winter song at all, but I fell in love with that song around Christmas time, that's the only reason it counts for me.

雪蛍 is a good one, too! I got into all the pre-ammonite material around the same time, so the album cell. does evoke the same "winter nostalgia" that Chandelier does.

Pierrot's "Sacred" sounds very winter-y to me - and that is how I perceive it (before OP goes saying that "it has nothing to do with winter")

Around this time last year I was walking to one of the buildings on campus and I had this playing. It was night time and it was snowing. It fit the mood so well to the point where I actually took my time so I can embrace the moment. Can't wait till I get that chance again.

 

Back in 2006 If I remember correctly, I used to make mixtapes of random rap.rock, and J-rock songs. I randomly came across this song and put it on the mix. Since then, It brings back memories of that Christmas and year in general where I made a lot of memories that I'll always hold dear.
