I'm in Osaka, and I don't plan on doing any heavy shopping until my last day (end of next week, that's when I expect to be back in Tokyo), but I still managed to find a lot of interesting things at the Osaka branches of Closet Child and PureSound.

 

 

Fun fact about the DEZERT album: it's sealed and the price tag was ¥3,000! Lately, from what I've seen, flippers are trying to sell it for ~¥10,000. I got the regular edition because I think the cover looks better than the pink one.

 

Also sealed: R-shithead mini album (¥1,000), and the A/D types of the 己龍 singles (¥100/each, from Closet Child). The type C 己龍 single on the other hand, is not brand new and it cost me ¥600. I'm clearly an idiot for going to PureSound first! (lol)

In Osaka, there wasn't even a ¥100 box, it was just half a shelf of CDs on sale, and only some of them were ¥100. That being said, the CD section of the store was just a small corner. And as for PureSound, the CD selection was barely half the store. The rest of both stores was just lolita garbage. I'm planning on going to Shinjuku before I head back home. I'm sure the CD shops over there will be much better than the ones here.

Yup! I was mainly in Tokyo when I lived in Japan and my favorite shops was Puresound Shinjuku and Closetchild Harajuku/Shinjuku. Like and Edison in Shibuya is also pretty cool (but they don't have any used cd's). The Puresound in Shinjuku has shitloads of rarez (but expensive af). There's tapes there that goes for 100,000 jpy+

If so, how is it ? I'm planning on buying it eventually but there is no samples so I'm not sure if I should throw my money at it ahah

haven't listened to it yet... in fact i haven't listened to ANY of the CD's i bought already^^° *got no time for listening to CD's while i'm in japan...*

and yea also totally hope the other 2 songs of MEIDARA will be as good if not even better!^^

 

when i come home from my trip it'll probably take me a few months until i listened to all CDs i bought because of my listening habits:

 

max. 2-4 CD's i listen during the weekend, then while working i just listen mostly the new CDs i heard over the weekend on repeat so i can get the "most" out of it and than start with new CDs over again and when there are no new CDs i'll listen to whatever i feel like - maybe thats strange but thats how i most of the time do it for a few years now... XD
