Pretsy 1343 Posted August 7, 2013 How are In Situ and Tabula Rasa related to some geometry calculation stuff? Artist's explanation doesn't help at all...
Wonrei 108 Posted August 7, 2013 In Situ = in place, and the first edition has the lines in place to form the circle. The second one...points to it... Tabula Rasa= blank slate... it's a solid figure without interiors on the first one and on the second one Dir en grey is interesecting the blank slate. Not really hard to get, people. Pretsy 1343 Posted August 7, 2013 Oh They could still make it less "out of place" in their art repertoire though.
Karma’s Hat 3107 Posted August 7, 2013 Miles better than all the covers for their DVD's up to like Vulgar[ism]. They all look like they were quickly put together by a Taiwanese bootlegger at best, which is odd considering their album designs have always been nice. 1 nekkichi reacted to this

sebbivism 134 Posted August 7, 2013 Haha, cool artwork covers. Makes me think of documents you probably can see in the lab at researchers at some super fancy university Now I expect a upcoming album "IN THE LAB" or a single "MOLECULES" haha
relentless 254 Posted August 7, 2013 It's DIFFERENT. It stands out above their typical grim dark releases into something that just might provoke some level of thought. 1 Flash-Fab-Supernova reacted to this

finnthesubhuman 26 Posted August 8, 2013 No embryo on the tracklist.I knew they wouldn't film it. The new artwork is strange (as a standalone piece I'd probably be all over its contemporary nature but the description the author gave does not correlate whatsoever) but for once they're not following Murrka's super-edgy shit so I guess it's a mixed bag? ghost 2687 Posted August 8, 2013 It makes perfect sense and I love it (at least the limited edition.) The regular edition looks a bit messy and hard to read.
Wicked Teletubby 528 Posted August 8, 2013 while being ridiculously minimalistic, this artwork looks like the most worked on, so to speak. I can't even tell if I like it or not.
