None of the bands/artists from my shuffle posts are visual kei. 2 of them are non-Japanese (Bonobo and Radio Moscow). And of the 8 Japanese bands, only about half of them are on indie labels. 2 of those 4 playing some variation of rock, while the other 2 are firmly rooted in folk music and electronica respectively.

As for the songs in the previous post, I would go with Nirvana as I'm not interested in the rest of those bands lol.  And the strange discussion about where songs come from, Idk if this shuffle will show it, but I definitely have way more than VK and J-indie in my 30k song library lol.  Also, I wouldn't call Western music + some mainstream Japanese bands diversity either so Idk where that was going. =/

To me, the song is more about being hopelessly in love with someone completely broken to the point where they break you, and potentially drive you to idealise suicide.

Cool selection! That Kuroyume song brings back nostalgic memories of my friend showing me their old PVs, "lulz Kiyoharu was VK once too, he looks so ridiculous/awesome!"
