  1. Oh jeez I didn't even know about live distributed... lol.  Should of guessed.

    Yes hopefully we can survive....haha.

Yeah they don't have the live distributes listed on their homepage it's a pain.

but to be honest the one that I have is just kind of meh recorded (great live though)

I found a tweet that Rei mentioned the previous ones and he said they were demos so idk how those were distributed. But I got 宵花火 at visual graffiti.

Good luck. My thoughts are with you all.

I keep forgetting how I'm even getting the single :') I just know it'll get to me... one day.

  2. I bought like 5 copies of IN THE SUNLIGHT (and got bitched about it on that site that shall not be named by japanese fans lol) I would have bought it for pretty much up to 5 more people......... Though all of my transactions were carried out in Japanese on twitter so it was probably easy to overlook mine.... φ(._.; )

Speaking of my friend is going to be selling cheki & offering a shounenki shopping service since she goes to a lot of their Osaka lives if any of you guys are interested. I'll make a post about it on toomuchcheki soon....

    I'm missing...

    1. Akasha :(((
    2. any free live distribute (I think there have been about three?) besides 宵花火 (yoi hanabi) ⇐ these are not listed on their OHP and are probably even harder to get than Akasha (°_°) I don't even know their names I just saw the jackets on Rei's twitter one time and laid down in defeat

Well, it's just a little over a week before BANG ME comes out hope you guys can survive until then \o/

  3. I've been trying to find Akasha for a a year plus and no luck. Some of my favorite songs are on there... I honestly wish they would release a remastered version. One can dream right...

Bloom is a wonderful mini-album I highly encourage you to reconsider--and sooner rather than later. It's getting hard to find in Japan too :) If I'm not mistaken it's not available in physical stores anymore--only online shops that haven't sold out yet. I can't remember the last time I saw it in stores.

And let's not forget on Bloom there is the treasure of a song I gonna fxxk you which has some great lyrics

    tumblr_n8r6afMXr21qa6dkxo1_500.jpg

Anyway, I would recommend grabbing it while there is still a chance because finding a physical copy of their CDs after it sold out is such a pain(°_°)

If I'm not mistaken REVIVA is sold out according to OHP and is difficult to find. Like an Edison and Jishuban Club both still haven it listed without saying it's sold out but they might not have updated the pages.

As for BANG ME I am pretty sure I listened to the preview like 5 times total. But I am looking forward to it whenever that happens.

  4. I digged them even before Bang me, I think gazeru babel is a fantastic single. BUT this bang me shit is so addictive, I already love the song to death. I'm so jealous you've heard it live! Such a shame you can't remember much from it :<

Yeah, I met them during REVIVA time when Kou was a different flavor of blonde and eiki was slightly more present. And how they lured me in was Kou going "WE'RE ON YOUTUBE :D?" but the first one I bought was Bloom and it's still my favorite.

It's really nice to see other people interested in them :D

Well, it was the 3rd oneman so they played a lot of songs (+ drunk ) so.. yeah, I can't really remember :') but I do remember liking it and it brightened the mood when in the sunlight was.. a downer (Kou pretty much went on about suicide and how we should do our best to continue living because life is precious).

  5. Going to be honest, didn't know you guys were that into them :')
I really want to see Kou's reaction to knowing how many foreigners have fallen for the band. I mean, last year he was ecstatic simply by finding out that I followed him on twitter lol

I'm getting my copy of BANG ME from... Like an Edison Osaka? Whichever has Rei comment DVD. Because that dongus is my favorite.
If I recall I enjoyed BANG ME live?? But my memory of the live was 1) everything was fun (except that one MC before IN THE SUNLIGHT.. that was not fun.) 2) they did artlessness boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3) drink drank drunk.

⇒I mentioned it in this thread, but I have a shop mostly for cheki and I'm selling some of shounenki.
Kou's cheki has been claimed but I have the others up too. And when I see them again at the end of November I'll probably have more (also I have a cheki buying service listed on that page so I can buy cheki for people that day too...).
Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any inquiries! I like to keep my discussions of transactions in one location, thanks :)

  8. ⇒Physical Music (CD`s, Tapes, Records)

I have my music collection separated. Half of it is in America in boxes. The other half is sitting on a little bookshelf. I have bands that are broken up or that I am less likely to update their collection at the back and then bands I update more frequently stacked at the front (by order of release).

    ⇒Physical Videos (Blu-ray, DVD, VHS)

They're on the shelf under the CD shelf. I don't really bother so much with DVDs.

⇒Digital Music (iTunes, Google, rekochoku, downloads, etc...)

I don't really download or buy off of iTunes. Everything's in my music folder. Slightly more organized than that sounds.

⇒Physical Goods (Clothing, Obi, Posters, Cheki, Bonuses like photo`s, etc...)

I have a cloth box that I dump my towels in. I often forget to return them to the box. Cheki is in cheki files (either ones designed for the band or just your average 100yen shop trading card cases). I stopped buying goods besides towels and cheki but the ones that I do have are either on the shelves or in a bag in my closet. Tour pamphlets are in the bag in my closet.

    ⇒Other Stuff You Collect

Crap I catch at lives. Picks go in with the cheki, specifically with the cheki of the member whose pick it belongs to. Unless I don't have any for that band (hoshi no house, grieva, lost ash...) then it's just stuffed in the pocket in one of my random cheki files with the other picks. Drum sticks have a post it on them so I know whose it was and is put in that bag I mentioned. Other crap is just dumped in with them. I'll probably remember what band it was from.... probably.

Magazines etc are possibly in that bag too or sitting on my floor if I am contemplating throwing them out.. I haven't looked at it in a while.

Flyers are in a accordion file thing if I plan on keeping them, in a little HEARTS. bag if I consider them trashable but... haven't thrown them away yet.

    ⇒Summary

I should probably throw away/sell half the crap I have.

  9. To those of you who have seen auncia (now known as ANSIA) and Megamasso live, I envy you. I haven't gone to any concerts of Japanese artists. Where I live in the USA, they don't come here. Hope to go to Japan someday...

one of my friends for souiumono follows both. i'm not big on megamasso and havent seen ansia but the bassist is adorable. he was excited to hear i'm american and positively delighted to find out a nickname for mcdonalds in the states is mickey d's. for some reason he started calling me that until i threatened to throw an empty coke bottle at him, then he said my name properly. he has a tattoo in english but wouldnt show me and my friends (like i said i'm american, my friends there that night were an Australian and a Japanese lady with decent English) because if it was wrong he'd be embarrassed so my Japanese friend joked that it was an "I ♡ mom" tattoo and he just nodded along, lol.

  10. I also saw POLYSICS at some point (on the myspace music tour, haha). 2007? 2008? Something like that.

So that it doesn't get too unwieldy for the Japan ones I'm just putting the bands I was there for/grew to like them.. (I have a full list on my tumblr that I actually need to update...)

Best memories would probably be brand new wave tour final last year where I met my closest Japanese friend for Souiumono. Also Bikkey telling me happy birthday and giving me a hug after their Osaka oneman. Minemura (hana shounen baddies) asking me about something I wrote in a fanletter to Tsubuku before leading me to him an Tsubuku remembering my name before Hiroshi excitedly ran up to meet me is also a fond memory.

Worst memory would be getting norovirus the 2nd time I went to see Souiumono. It had been months since the first time I saw them but I had to leave in the middle of them.

  11. i forgot to grab the single from april both times i saw them then oops. but yes it's a free thing if i recall correctly

they're decent but have like 5 fans so i'm surprised they're so close to finishing the 1 year plan. i wouldnt mind if the release for stores was the songs repackaged tbh.

  12. biopanda is right in that the soundtrack album is their opening themes that they came out on stage to and a completely separate thing from the best of album. it drops may 25th and you can get it at fiveStars, their official shop or i believe the remaining live(s?) they have.

best of album is July 2(?).

  13. haha but actually they made it all caps starting from the tour in february..? During symmetria, right? the tour that half of it was moved to like this past week because Kei had the flu.

..but the tour had me raising my eyebrows a bit though, for a few reasons (namely ticket price+the choice of live houses that I know anything about).

regardless, I do like the art for the tour announcement though

  14. Can you please give some description in how they sound overall? Metal/rock ish? Hard rock? Similar to Signal?

oh man that week was insane for me with ~7 lives in 8 days (I literally ran from one live on one day to catch the last 3~4 songs and encore of another one day so it's a little more than 7) while being pretty sick... so things are kind of a blur.  And I didn't write a proper recount of what happened like i normally do for lives so i can't reference much.

    • They were heavy. More metalcore than hard rock? idfk terms lol.
    • I can't remember what the singer's singing voice is like but I was okay with his screaming, which I can be picky about, and he also did the high pitched screeches like those Yuri did (idk much of Signal's work after Korey left so I'm not sure if he kept it up after that) if you know what I mean. I lovingly call that type of screeching pterodactyl noises but maybe there's a better term for it lol.
    • I do remember having some feelings of "ah yeah this reminds me of old Signal." I have a feeling that they were a lot like old Signal, and I remember thinking that that was probably what Korey wanted to do to begin with anyway (and why he left Signal was difference in musical opinion, right?).

But like I said, I'm foggy on it. I just remember my mental note basically being "Fixer=good and want to see again sometime."

They had like 4 fans in front row, I should have asked about going into saizen for them lol (I probably would have if I hadn't been sick). Maybe now that they're starting formal activities they'll start getting more fans....? If not, uh-oh doesn't look good on that front.

Hope that answered it a little. I still need to listen to that YouTube video (maybe it'll refresh my memory? probably not.).

  15. I wasn't about to list every single band I listen to, so we might have more in common ^^ from what I've gathered, you went to quite a few lives and events, that's pretty wicked ;)

That's definitely true! Hopefully we'll find something else in common (even if I'm a huge fan of the silly and weird bands, my tastes are all over the place). Hah, yeah, I'm active in the scene here and it'd be more if I didn't live in the middle of nowhere. But it's been a fun experience!! :)
