Because old school Visual Kei has its own distinctive sound that caught my attention and interest. There are many music styles that also have a sinister dark sound, but Visual Kei does it in its own way and a way that I love.

 

Also, I like how old school Visual Kei talks about and conveys an element of mental insanity both lyrically and musically.

 

But whether or not a band talks about insanity and those things or not I miss what I listed before with my poor English and lack of knowledge of technical terms: fast drumming, changing speed, etc the way old school used ot do it.

 

But still some bands out there are doing some things: GRIEVA, Vallquar (still active?), La'veil Mizeria.

i guess you are stuck with something you can't have. also for looks i get my dractic shit from other form of entertainment. like American horror story had that one really disturbing scene in season 2 that, and game of thrones had the red lady give birth to the shadow man. idk care for lyrics either because their are cruel storylines.  anyway i will never understand.

But those clean vocaloid vocals on 【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】【L】 made me wanna vomit and run off a cliff. Literally the worst vocals I've ever heard, and not even in a "charming visual kei" kinda way, but in a "cover my ears, they're being raped" kind of way ... were fucking annoying. But other than that, the harsh vocals were nice, and the music itself was well composed, leaving me optimistic for what eve has next for AvelCain. I'd like to hear karma's voice on Lilith (with the beep-boops taken out, too).

i just hate the vocals on lily since that was respectful to yuuki he could have stopped the vocaloid and got ran (xepher) to sing it. with the intstrumental he defiled it by turning it into a avelcain song by changing the tuning and adding a crappy breakdown after the original breakdown. on the othersongs nice, but a bit to much reliance on metalcore. 

He looks a lot better than his Lycaon days... xD

anyway after listing to ir, i still say eve wasn't the backbone since it sounds basic and no wow. Lycaon's backbone is Yuuki, satoshi, and zero/rito. ichiro be having some nice dumming, and hiyuu has his parts.
