Looks like they're not going on hiatus or anything - they announced that they're playing monthly shows at Takadanobaba AREA from April to December. I wonder if they're going to have a support bassist or if they already found someone new? AREA http://www.liphlich.com/news/

I just found out recently that they posted the lyrics for the digital singles they released in the past few years on their website. I really appreciate bands that do that. Plus this is a cute song. There's an official video, but I'm going with the live version from before Kimura left the band because the PV they made without him is really missing his energy. Cast a Spell on Me Music and Lyrics: Masashi Akiba Hey baby, ufufufufu Right now, I’m thinking the same thing Oh! Darling, stop the time I want to stay right here, just like this forever Ah, if this is a dream we’re going to have to wake up from one day anyway, Now, while I’m blinking, Cast a spell on me So that no matter how much time passes, No matter where I go, No matter what happens, I can come back here Cast a spell on me Burn it into me So that even if we lose sight of each other, Even if we fade away, I can come back here Lalala… Mahou o kakete HEI BEIBII UFUFUFUFU Ima onaji koto omotte iru yo OO! DAARIN toki o tomete Zutto kono mama koko ni itai yo Aa itsuka wa doose Samete shimau yume nara Ima mabataki o shiteru aida ni Mahou o kakete Itsu ni nattemo Doko e ittemo Nani ga attemo Koko e modoreru you ni Mahou o kakete Yakitsukete yo Miushinattemo Kietenakutemo Koko e modoreru you ni RARARA… 。。 ^I typed these out from the image on their website, since they're pretty simple, but I might have made some mistakes. Here's the link if you want the original text: http://www.thebeatmotors.com/images/mahou_lyrics.jpg

Probably not going to be the type of band I go for musically, but the look is great, IMO. I like how everyone is tied up with the same rope but one guy's hands are tied with an extension cord, like they just ran out of rope right at the end and no one wanted to go to the store and buy more.

Listening to the audiobook of "Good Omens" since Neil Gaiman has been hyping the upcoming TV show so hard and I've never read it.

This is an award worthy stupid VK band name. Good to know Michi is still out there doing things though.

I'm a bit disappointed to hear that he's not planning to perform anymore, because I think something about him is super charming, but if he feels like being in a band isn't for him it's probably for the best that he's jumping ship quick. I'm not really wild about Kagekui, but they're a pretty big improvement over DAYDALA, so I was thinking maybe I'd enjoy his third band. I'm a little sad that I won't get to find out.

Watching BAKI on Netflix at the moment, and I'm kind of surprised by how little action Baki himself has gotten so far, given the title of the series. It's pretty funny watching him go on dates while everyone else is in these long, nasty battles getting their faces burned off. I mean, I know they're obviously setting up for the girl to be kidnapped so he can rescue her, but he legit only fought for like one episode.

FAKE STAR USA (https://twitter.com/FAKESTARUSA) are the ones organizing the show for ACME. You could try asking them what can be done, but I assume they'll just tell you the same thing about contacting your local con and telling them you want VK. They're probably your best hope for anything VK in California though, since they brought CHISA from ACME to Anime Expo for the fashion show and also brought Kaya to Los Angeles earlier this year. https://fakestarusa.com/ Chaotic Harmony (https://twitter.com/cha0ticharmony) are the ones organizing THE SOUND BEE HD's appearance, but I don't think they do much in California? You can try asking them though, since it looks like they have booked something in Los Angeles before. https://www.chaotic-harmony.net/

04 Limited Sazabys is actually a fairly direct name. Gen mentioned a while back on Twitter that it comes from this: The original drummer was a big Gundam fan, but apparently he misspelled "Sazabi" and I guess it was too late to change it when they noticed.

Oh, is that what it was supposed to be? 😮 I always assumed it was a botched translation of "goose bumps"

I thought Sadie was fine until I found out it was pronounced "saddy", not like the girls' name, which is dumb on many different levels.

^Well, this is the only video of theirs I've ever watched all the way through, so I don't know if it holds true for their other stuff, but there's just something off about his face and how it looks next to the rest of his body. It's like the excitement just suddenly cuts off before reaching his eyes in some of the shots...

The singer from DOG in the PWO creeps me out.

Is that last icon your result, or is it the same for everyone? Because mine says humanism. Ended up with a bit more in spiritualism than I would have expected, but I guess that's because it's weighed against all the questions about money, and I can't say being rich has ever been a big priority.

Danablu - Wensleydale Half time Old - Mayonaka no shissou ni soumei to ongaku I knew what the cover of the Danablu CD looked like before I ordered it, yet somehow I still thought the case was actually cracked for a second when I opened it...

^It's not one of the big hit singles, but I think it's one of the quintessential "VK-sounding" GLAY songs. Gonna throw this in as well because, after looking at their revival thread, apparently no one knows who DuelJewel are anymore? I only know this song from them, but it's such a catchy track. Heard it when I was first getting into VK as part of a mix or something, and it still stands out so clearly in my memory.
