In China its more about hiphop, rnb and pop. there are some rock bands but metal bands are such an underground thing in China.
 
One of the problems being is that 99% of performers are promoted as solo artists rather than bands. it was only around the early 80s and late 90s where being part of a pop or rock band was more of a thing. China does have many metal bands but due to the media & the culture not many of them make it to the top.

I see the point you're making and of course I respect your opinion. However, what I don't have respect for is someone demanding not to be judged after having passed judgment on others (in an uncalled-for way at that).
 
You simply cannot say that music generally trivializes sex or that it corrupts the quality of intimacy with another person. Equally, you cannot condemn people for listening to Rammstein's "Rein Raus" or brutal death or fuckin Mongolian throat singing while at it. Why? Because even that does not preclude that they have a relationship based on mutual respect and trust.
Sex is not only about this grand spiritual experience of two souls intertwining bla bla... it is also about having fun, experimenting, with everyone involved enjoying it and not feeling subjugated or objectified but loved and appreciated. In fact, those things usually go together in a relationship, anyway.
 
Please don't misunderstand: this is not me criticizing Shmilly's view on this topic in general, but him saying the stuff he said in the first quote.

Nothing can beat some Rammstein or just industrial metal in general for sex imo, I dated a chick who loved to listen to brutal death metal because she loved taking a pounding to the sound of blastbeats. otherwise she was more into marilyn manson and occasionally nine inch nails. but she liked it rough none the less.

Fuck all the haters - I like this group.

I think its mainly cuz of our accent and because 'we talk funny' - Ive skyped quite a lot with a chick who lives in Maryland though she say was originally from virginia and shes always pokin fun of the way i talk. Though as far as accents go, mine is weird as it doesnt quite fall into the typical 'british accent' or any kind of regional british accents which are synonymous to the different parts of London or the UK itself.
 
I love girls with an accent though. It just makes spending time with them more interesting and entertaining 

I think I'd drop a few comments to this conversations since I have been together with my fiancé for over 4 years.
 
I don't think that being 'picky' is a good thing when it comes to relationships, nor deciding if someone is relationship material only based on your common interests. If I had been too picky or only cared about the number of our common interests, I would have never ended up with the love of my life.
 
I actually met him as a high school sophomore because I took a senior Finnish class. I heard him talking about external hard drives, and asked what kind of external hard drive he's gonna get. He isn't extraordinarily handsome, tall or charismatic. I wouldn't probably have even noticed him, if it wasn't for an old scar in his short-haired head that is currently just a small bald spot (skating accident haha). I actually asked him "what is that whole in your head", and then we started talking.
As it turned out, he is into cars, American rap (west side yooo), Dire Straits, motorcycles, computers and gaming. Back then I was into visual kei, k-pop, dancing, fashion, make up, hair extensions. We had zero things in common, but still we hit it off and have been together ever since. I love his humor more than anything, and he got me really into cars. I wrote an essay about electric cars in my physics finals, because I had been babbling about how much they suck. I started liking the things he liked, and vice versa.
 
Moral of the story? Don't be too picky. Don't be ridiculous and date only people who are at least THIS tall, have that kind of hair, that kind of eyes or people who like the exact same things you like. 

Nah shes from the U.S - we talk on skype a lot and we have a lot in common, shes pretty much the definition of 'other half' for me.  
 
 
 
 
Yeah, It happens quite a lot if you let yourself fall into it. Even though I have 'feelings' for her at the same time Im realistic and know theres very little chance of it going beyond and internet thing but I will definitely go meet her one day. Ive never been to the US and ive always wanted to visit.
 
I still keep calling myself stupid anyway for falling for someone who lives on the other side of the world, but its not been easy rejecting my own feelings after shes quite a lot like the ex i dated for 4 years but knew for 2 or 3 years prior to dating. 
 
Ive told her that I like her anyway and she likes me too lol. I want to reach out and just cuddle the shit out of her but shes so far away

Im usually fine, Im good at avoiding situations like these and thats why ive been single for so long xD I havent found anyone who I really clicked with until me and her got closer and started sharing more about each other. Ive known her for 3 or 4 years though but since she was a friend of a friend, we didnt really talk 'talk' if you get me. 

I haz a possible love interest, Only downside is that theres an ocean between us.

I found it absolutely atrocious and boring, devoid of any ability to make me feel as exhilarated as previous "hits" of theirs. I already didn't like much of Apocalyze to begin with (after what, to me, was their pinnacle: Zion), and this goes even below the level of those songs. Nothing memorable, nothing powerful and most of all nothing catchy about it. Just some half-assed shouting over a half-assed electro BGM that sorely lacks a punch.
 
I'm still waiting to hear the B-sides but after experiencing this new track I'm not that optimistic anymore.

Welcome to Dongmakgol - A movie that was recommended to me a while back and i never had time to watch it till now.......
 
Overall pretty good, though not as strong as the previous korean war movie i watched about 2 brothers.. Some acting was rather poor, and the placement of CGI & the CGI itself was quite often very questionable. 
 
Quite a few scenes are just stupid..

I know....
 
But i know some people HATE that kind of music & some people dont even see it as a proper genre but I love it, Especially when they come up with something similar to bloodstain child but much much heavier with more electro fills/beats/samples, all that + vocaloid or proper autotune vocals makes for such an amazing mix, cuz i love Artema & fear and loathing. BUT THERES SO MUCH TOUHOU I HAVE TO LISTEN TO D:
 
I do break away from the metal side of it and go full on electro. I love it yet i feel ashamed listening to it but at the same time its very legit.

Just thought id leave this here....
