The Hateful Eight - What a huge disappointment. I'm not sure which one disappointed me more though, Tarantino or Morricone. When I first heard that Morricone would compose the soundtrack I was excited, then I heard that they would use mostly some left-overs of The Thing soundtrack and I was less excited, then I heard the music in the movie.... zZz.. How and where they used the music was horrible too. Something I actually liked though were Walton Goggins and Jennifer Jason Leigh's performances. They were great. Also all the "Thing" references were a cool touch.

Nice list! Haven't heard all of those yet but I really enjoyed Misþyrming, Mgla, Peste Noire, Glaciation. That pseudo-chinese but actually from Colorado or some backwoods band and Panopticon released pretty good albums too imo.

For Ghibli, Princess Mononoke. I haven't watched any Disney animation movies in the last 10 years or more but I guess The Lion King is my favorite..

a tip: if you want to insult someone, just say that their favorite song sounds like anime opening song.
