Bought a new 1tb external HD finally! My old 1TB one is already full of music and it's ancient anyway... needs an external power supply - but it has served me well, lol.

My guess is 生きたい by 白黒キネマ (Monokuro Kinema)? I only found an acoustic version or something on youtube but there is a different version on their 2007 album. Especially the outro of that version is kinda like "uncontrolled shouting".

Fucking great Pretty much the only band you can count on to release quality music nowadays.

I have been watching Kingdom which revolves around the MMA world but it's basically a family drama. I feel like this show is pretty underrated but I guess it's because of the subject matter too. The first season is great, first half of second season (10 episodes) is also great. The second half of 2nd season is airing now and it's the weakest yet and my least favorite, sadly. I'm not digging some of the character-development but there's still some hope for it to get better again...

I think it would be cool if TK produced a collaboration album with not only Aimer but a wide array of different artists.

Take Shelter - I read the synopsis and it sounded interesting so I watched this with a friend a while ago. I have mixed feelings about the movie, it didn't play out as I expected, which is boh a good and bad thing in this case, I guess. But one thing's for sure - the cast did a great job (Michael Shannon, Shea Whigham, Jessica Chastain etc.) 6/10

Random useless thoughts about episode 7...

Best. Crime. Movie. Ever. Made: High and Low (directed by Kurosawa) One of my all-time favorite movies also. The third act is definitely the weakest part of the movie but still 10/10!

So looks like their 11th Anniversary Lives are in May. I wonder if they're gonna announce a new release there since they've been recording new stuff. Hopefully something new soon!

Chef - I decided to watch something lighter for a change and ended up watching Chef, which, as the title suggests is a food porn movie flavored with some family "drama". I didn't expect to be blown away by this film and I wasn't but I enjoyed it. The music was pretty great: soul, funk, blues and so on. And Sofia Vergara (who's in a side role), what a babe! She stole every scene she was in. 7/10

Yep, I'm probably the elitist shadow... I recognize some traits of elitism in me. I'm very open-minded about genres but I have come to a point in my life where I'm able to tell whether I like or dislike a song in max. 20 seconds. I know pretty well what I want. I can spend time and listen to other people's music on dubtrack.fm and the likes but I know when I hear a crappy song. Now where the shadow part comes in is that I don't just go around preaching about what's in my opinion good music or not. Spewing shit like that helps nobody. I can keep my inner asshole in a leash. But I kinda hate that "elitist" part of myself.

Well, anything is better than the piqnic.
