I think it was sold at 2 or 3 gigs only, so chances are no... I'm still optimistic and waiting for a possible store release sometime in the future.

Good to see them being active again! In case anyone missed them before, here's an old PV for reference:

Just finished my first week at my new job, so far so good! Workplace is pretty close to where I live, team mates are fun ppl, the office is pretty rad too.
-
Lookin' good with that setlist! Can't wait to hear more news, hopefully of them becoming a full-time band.
-
Not bad I guess.
-
This is not usually my type of music, but I've heard some pleasant samples from this album, might check it out soon!
-
How did that go?
-
Hmmm so it's basically 7 new songs, 3 'old' ones and 2 intro/interlude thingies. I'm okay with that.
-
Great, simple but effective artwork indeed! I'll eventually get to the music too...

I've just listened to this, and unfortunately I didn't enjoy it as much as their EP. The title track is cool, but otherwise I'm not too sure what's missing... the whole thing feels overly long and a bit tired to me. It has its moments tho, but this one's a "meh" for me (maybe I had too high expectations after the EP). Totally random, but I just stumbled upon this new-ish band called Ashes whose drummer is the same guy who does vocals/bass/drums in Owls Woods Graves, haha. Guitarist/bassist/keyboardist guy is also from Medico Peste. Their debut album was just released at the end of February, and while I haven't had time to listen to it all the way, it seems like it has a pretty sweet atmospheric style (reminds me of Burzum at some parts). Also, new VLTIMAS track is out if anyone's curious. The vocals are awful, but the music is pretty rad so hmmmm I dunno. I constantly feel this project would be better off with a more versatile or more extreme-sounding vocalist, cuz otherwise it's pretty solid. edit: oh right, it's David Vincent, that explains it........

First episode was okay-ish (i.e. lightyears better than anything from AS4), we'll see. #Silky4theCrown

Good stuff! Digging the new look too.
-
How fitting, lol.

Okay I'll stop with listening to all these advance tracks, I want some surprises too.

The previews sound a bit samey, but not bad.

Random cool stuff I found: French black metallers Malhkebre just released their new album "Satanic Resistance" and I'm really digging it! Never heard of the band before, I came across it online via a random suggestion. They remind me a bit of (a less hectic) Deathspell Omega mixed with some death metal influences on this new record, although their older stuff is a bit different. In any case, it's definitely worth a spin or two. Here's a song from the album that captures their current sound pretty well: Another band I found by accident (and whom I also haven't known previously) is Drastus, coincidentally another French project. They seemed to favor a more raw hypnotic black metal sound on their earlier recordings but their new album seems to have an updated sound to it. I haven't actually listened to it yet, I was only catching up with the old stuff which is quite impressive in its noisiness (but is also kinda melodic if you listen hard enough, haha). The album "La croix de sang" officially drops on 1st March but it's already streamable on Bandcamp and can be dl'd where such stuff can be dl'd from. A track from the new record, with some top-notch drumwork and atmosphere:

@Bear Hell yeah, The Equalizer is awesome! I gotta rewatch it sometime soon. I've never actually seen the sequel, so maybe I'll do a 'double feature'.
-
I don't think I've read a more accurate description of this album yet.

@CELESTIAL CIEL awww I see, interesting.

Here's the cover artwork for the "Tour No.0" DVD/Blu-ray:

Sorry for the double-post but damnnnn these Owls Woods Graves guys are killer! Just listened to the EP, can't wait for the album. Also, I was browsing last.fm and it gave me another brilliant Polish band in a similar vein, Truchło Strzygi. They seem to be a bit more steeped in old-school black metal but the punk tendencies are also very strong. Very cool full-sounding songs too, gotta love when they do a bit of that melodic gang vocals at times. They have a demo, an album and more recently a new single/EP thingie, all top quality stuff imo. Recommended!!

This sounds great!! Sadly I didn't know about them before, but now I have some cool tunes to look forward to (and I see they already have an EP out so I'll track that one down as well).

That high-pitched synth is a bit of an overkill, but otherwise sounds good so far!

Watched Lords of Chaos. It was....... something. Okay I gotta admit I was pretty excited about this movie right from the start (I haven't read the book, I just know of the real 'music historical' context), but it was pretty cringey all throughout. The portrayal of the characters and the story itself is very shallow and matter-of-fact, almost like reciting a Wikipedia entry on the subject without any emotion or any unique color. Thanks to the script there are some truly ridiculous one-liners (not in a good way), so after a while the 'so bad it's good' effect almost kicks in. What I actually enjoyed were the parts with actual music (rehearsals, gigs and studio scenes), and visually the movie is very competent too. The violence is very realistic and stark too, dunno if that's a bad or a good thing (ok, I gotta say, the last stabbing was actually cartoonishly drawn-out, but maybe that's how it happened in real life, idk). It's just a shame that they resorted to present it in a way that feels like a nervous and edgy pre-teen trying to give a short presentation on the subject. Ehhh... Oh, and it was cool to see Attila's son playing Attila himself, even if he's only in the movie for like 2 mins and they don't even say who he is.

No worries. I do enjoy me quite a bit of the "Atom" album, it just took a really long time to grow on me (and still I prefer basically anything else xD). "cum uh sol nu", "BOY septem peccata mortalia", "FUTURE SONG" and "Ai no souretsu" are all killer tunes!
