Here's the cover art: Only a few more days and we'll get to hear the 'TV-size' version of RONDO~ Also, the title of track 3 is confirmed to be "獣たちの夜 - version of Cube Juice -", so it's gonna be a remix it seems. (Cube Juice has already collaborated with B-T and Atsushi's solo works before, with electronic arrangements and remixes.)

How can something this bland be also this cringey, lol...
-
I guess they were just like "fuck it", lol. Wouldn't be the first band in history to reluctantly 'perform' on TV or to make fun of the whole playback thing.
-
Sweeeeet.
-
Nice. This is actually kinda like what I wish current DEG sounded like, lol.
-
I'm inclined to believe this is some sort of April Fool's joke, but imagine how hilarious it would be to buy something for that much money, popping in the CD and hearing that cringey DAN DAN DAN DA DAN DAN DAAAAN, oh man. #Gacktrolled

That's the one! When I first saw Jourdan as Dracula I was a bit sceptical but over the course of the movie he really won me over, great screen presence. Speaking of presence, Finlay was so awesome as Van Helsing, I loved him, accent and all.

Watched two Irish horror flicks recently with some friends. The Hole in the Ground reminded me a bit of The Babadook at times, quite unnerving and creepy now that I think about it. It wasn't perfect but I kinda enjoyed it. We also saw The Hallow which had more 'action' but overall it didn't grab me as much. The creature effects were neat tho, too bad we only saw short glimpses of them. Cool premise/concept too. It was an okay movie I guess. The next day I watched the 1977 two-part BBC Count Dracula TV movie with a different set of friends. Supposedly this one's the most faithful adaptation of the source material (I can't tell cuz I've only just begun reading the novel). It was a fun experience, top-notch atmosphere and some memorable acting (and at times over-acting, lol) but watching both parts one after the other was maybe a bit of an overkill... we were kinda tired by the end, haha. Good stuff tho.

^ Great to see lots of positive feedback for Dragged Across Concrete, I had it downloaded for a while now, gonna watch it over the weekend.

Great thread idea! ♥ When I read the title these were the two performances that immediately popped into my head (coincidentally both by Gackt, lol). GACKT - Asrun Dream --- pretty much the whole song, but boyyyyy when he hits dat last chorus yesssssssss MALICE MIZER - Bel Air --- I dunno if it's good singing or not, but I've always been impressed by this one part towards the end of the song where Gackt sings those two lines with one breath (as opposed to the recorded version where there's clearly a short pause), makes it all the more dramatic and cool, heh.

I'm thoroughly underwhelmed by everything I've heard, but knowing it's MERRY the end product will surely be at least decent/capable.

I tried this new Rhapsody of Fire track (didn't like the previous one) but it's just painful to hear that this is where they are now. Pretty much devoid of guitar riffs or guitar melodies, only showboating synths and epic but totally unmemorable vocals from a copy-paste power metal singer, ehh... pretty bland. I mean, comparing it to this for example: Yeah, as you can tell I'm much more of a fan of Luca/Fabio. Speaking of, can't wait for their new stuff to come out (as Turilli / Lione Rhapsody).

New Bat and new Bewitcher?? Awesome!!
-
Just peeped that preview clip and now I'm lol'ing so hard... why do they look and sound EXACTLY like MEJIBRAY (like... even the production), only with a more conventional vocalist?? Not bad tho, just kinda amusing.

From what I managed to gather, it was an acoustic album with 8 tracks released in August 2017... live-limited of course.

Interesting title! According to Japanese Wiki, "Roneve" is the alternate spelling of the name of this dude right here. Hopefully we'll get a tracklist soon too!

Saw Netflix's Mötley Crüe movie The Dirt yesterday, it was alright. Typical music biopic with some funny fourth-wall-breaking and a few cringey moments. I love the Crüe tho, so it was all good anyway (and the actors pretty much nailed the characters). I enjoyed it more than Bohemian Rhapsody that's for sure.

+NICE.+

The new single is pretty sweet indeed! It exceeded my expectations, that's for sure. All three songs are solid.

Just started reading Bram Stoker's Dracula recently. I'm only a couple pages in, but I'm really (pleasantly) surprised how readable it is compared to how long ago it was written. Heard lots of good things about this one, let's see how it goes.

Nice video and sample, but that cover art needs to be thrown into Mount Doom NOW.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS ♥ ♥ ♥ (too bad it's not the full band tho, but this is as good as it gets)

Not sure what to expect from the new Darkthrone, but that's the best metal album cover art I've seen this year. I'm not worrying too much tho, whatever they release I usually like (or end up liking).

The new album is love at first listen. Near perfect.
