Sounds interesting. I might go if they play close enough.

Nice artist selection! That is one of my absolute favorite songs from old BAISER right there! <3 1. PENICILLIN - Inspiration 2. cali≠gari - ドラマ「禁色」 3. CPg - Erdős Péter 4. miss A - Ma Style 5. Before My Life Fails - Lives 6. Japan - Suburban Berlin 7. Lock Up - Life Of Devastation 8. Tom Waits - Tom Traubert's Blues (Four Sheets to the Wind in Copenhagen) 9. NOi'X - 思郷病~ノスタルジア~ 10. BAAL - DEAD ROCK ENEMY Ah~ I just love that mystical exotic feel NOi'X's song has, so elegant and gentle sounding~

Cool title. Also fun to see some bands still keepin' the old-school tradition of the tape alive.

I was hoping for a bit more frilly-cheesy sound but this ain't bad so far either.

Europa Report Somewhere between 'a bit boring' and 'occasionally suspenseful and exciting', overall an okay sci-fi good for one watch maybe. I liked the claustrophobic atmosphere and the kinda "found footage" nature of the whole thing. I thought it would be more horror-like with creepy aliens and stuff but it wasn't too bad this way either.

This FEST VAINQUEUR song popped into my head as soon as I read the thread title. xD Would make a cool opening imo.

Damn, I finally checked this band out a bit, since I kept seeing this thread so many times.... This is awesome stuff! 8D Def looking forward to their release. This vid is pretty sweet too (tho you guys prolly saw it already): Also, just curious: is there an easy way to order their upcoming EP from overseas? (i.e. without shopping service)

Haven't cared for these guys at all since like 2011 but still sad to see them go...

I could only come up with one, so far: EROS/erotic/slutty (whatever, you get it) Lycaon is so much better than old Lycaon: To me, when Lycaon started they were an okay band. They made somewhat nice songs, had a capable vocalist and so on, but wasn't overly interesting and ear/eye-catching for me - to be honest I lost interest right before their first full-length came out (to which I've only listened to once, to this day). Then the next thing I notice is swarms of people talking about them, so naturally I was curious to check them out again... and boy, did they change! :'D I just love the shamelessly and ridiculously over-the-top atmosphere their "erotic" style encapsulates, as well as the musical changes leaning towards sleazy SADS homages with the driving punky riffs and/or the slower cliché jazz/blues-inspired moments. I guess I might listen to them for the "shock factor" or that "it's so bad it's actually good", can't really say, but I sure as hell enjoy them more than their old style - it's just a whole lot more entertaining, overall. Sadly, they seem to be getting rid of these stylings based on their last terribly boring single. ;<

I hate listening to music when I'm studying or reading, cuz it distracts me and I would end up just listening to the music, not doing anything else. XD ...but when I draw or paint I like to listen to whatever kind of music I imagine would fit the atmosphere/mood of the picture in my head that I'm trying to get onto paper. Usually it's either some death metal or extreme metal, or some dark post-punk / goth-like music.
