Some good stuff I saw recently: - Tesis (Thesis) / kinda okay Spanish thriller, nothing too surprising but it was entertaining - Vargtimmen (Hour of the Wolf) / super-moody and depressing flick, loved its style and pace tho, very dream-like - The Shining / finally saw this one for the first time, cool atmosphere and fantastic acting from Mr Nicholson

Cool teaser vid~

LMAO this is somehow even worse with that added lengthy pretentious explanation.

Yay, thanks for the tracklist!

LOL things like this are such bullcrap... "Oooh we'll disband if we don't get X amount of ppl at the show" Well tough luck, if their band sucks and the turnout is so low they have to resort to such tactics (almost like blackmailing) then maybe they should realize that nobody wants to see their crappy tryhard flop band, and they should move on to more productive and fulfilling things. Of course this way they'll get some extra money maybe and an ego-boost to delude them further into continuing until they pull off another one of these stunts. Sorry for the rant, I usually don't give much mind to things like this but I couldn't keep it inside. xD

Sounds excellent so far!

I bought GAUZES' album from there, with the help of FromJapan's shopping service. They were okay, everything was fine.

I see, thanks! I'll totally buy it off of bandcamp, the samples sound awesome.

Ahh, bandcamp, awesome! Thanks for the info! Do they have a bandcamp page already btw? Cuz I was looking for it but couldn't find one.

Super-short PV spot for "A Priori"
-
Awesome! That's like an album!

^ Yeah, seems like it was a short-lived project (or maybe they'll pick it up time and time again?). Anyway, Masami Tsuchiya himself is more or less finished with his new solo album! No release date yet tho (I think).

Lookin' goooood~

So, what do you guys think of Kaya's new single? Personally, I loved it! TABOO's opening synth sounds somewhat nostalgic but then dat bass comes in and Kaya's voice... it fits so well. Ken Morioka did a really good job with this song imo, I'd love to hear him write more stuff for Kaya because it really works. No parts are boring because they keep throwing in some little extra synth melodies that complement Kaya's vocals nicely (talking about the verses and bridge mainly). The change of pace around the middle was a good thing too, keeps things interesting. Overall, this song might seem long looking at its duration but they make it really fun to listen to. Now onto Kalm's track, Infection! The beginning could even pass off as an intro to a VELVET EDEN track with its intricate synth parts but then it cranks up the speed, in a really fun and manic-sounding way. I gotta say, the subtle effect on Kaya's voice is a nice touch here (makes it more... 'harsh'?), as are the intervowen synths lurking in the background while the song blasts away. Gotta love that circus-y interlude too! All in all, this is a pretty kickass song, with a darker atmosphere compared to TABOO. Not sure if I like this or that one better, both are pretty solid. And yeah, there are karaoke versions of both songs again, not gonna review those. | a catchy single full of great sounds and atmosphere, this is the Kaya I like!

^ I'm guessing either the title track or both tracks will be on their future album anyway, so it might be just some kinda special treat for fans who make it to the concert. Anyway, surprisingly I'm liking this new preview a bit better than the last one.
