Thought this could be amusing. Feel free to only limit it to albums-only or singles-only if a band's discography would be too large otherwise, or even just limit it to trying to describe the band itself as poorly as possible.

Some of the demographics that annoy me the most (on a personal level):
    - ''Goths'' who literally only listen to that sadboi soundcloud rap shit and are all about that 'tfw no big tity goth gf' bullshit
    - Furries ('ha ha what do you think sonic's toes smell like ha ha just wondering')
    - K-Pop
    - Boomers who are invested in that Minions/Garfield/Ggetto Tweety stuff to an unhealthy degree
    - Visual Kei
    - MCU / Star Wars / Game of Thrones / literally anything that attracts 'alt-normies' (i hate the term, but unfortunately it's accurate)
    - Videogame speedrunners
    - Drag race fans
    - Metalheads
    - Anime in general, but ESPECIALLY both the 'UwU this anime girl is LITERALLY me & i have a 5 o' clock shadow that won't quit' and 'I want to FUCK this anime girl & my civilization still hasn't invented taking showers' demographics
    - The absolute fucking retards who for some reason believe in raising their pets 'vegan' just because they themselves are (not a 'fandom', but still a community)

Bronies would've been up on that list once but it feels like that demographic has just spontaneously Jonestowned  overnight in terms of their web presence compared to half a decade ago. Sherlock/Dr. Who/Supernatural and all that stuff could've been in the list along w/ MCU and stuff but for those Tumblr-tier fandoms it also kinda feels like the fanbase's web presence just evaporated overnight. I guess with Sherlock and Dr. Who it was more a case of the last couple of seasons just being THAT irredeemably bad

In all honesty though, if we're just talking about singling out the  'most toxic communities' or whatever,  you can literally just narrow it down to 'whichever ones attract the highest numbers of  furries, nu-commies, incels, SJWs, alt-righters & nerds LARPing as actual nazis, transwomen or 15 year olds tryna act like they're hot shit' within communities mainly frequented by people up to like.. age 35 or so, IMO. In all honesty, whenever I see some shit-flinging or drama going down in some particular community there's pretty much always a 95% chance the person causing it will fall into one or more of those categories.

Boomer environments, on the other hand, are much more unpredictable, and the most venomous shit can legit come from the most unexpected of places. I rembmer for example how a couple of years back there was some pretty serious shit going down on Facebook in some of the Dutch ''moms sharing pictures of Tweety wishing you a nice weekend''-communities when some middle-aged guy started reposting some of those house mom's edited Garfield pics on his own page w/o crediting them, and it culminated in a situation where the guy stealing and reposting other people's pics was sending out death threats, doxxing people and creating fake accounts of his accusers to try & slander the housewives accusing him of stealing their ''Don't talk to me before i've had my coffee!'' pics.

yeet.  unfortunately it’s the younger fans that are more prominent.  i don’t come across a lot of older kpop fans.  and tbh, i’ve noticed recently (like that past couple months tbh) that i think i’m kinda outgrowing kpop on a whole.  there’s still a few i’m into, like mamamoo is my main rn, but the snsd ladies, hyuna, and sunmi will always have a place in my heart.  idk tho, tbh.  i’m just not that into it as much lately.

I'd say this accounts for a small fraction. Granted, I don't assume people questioning their gender and automatically think their faking it. That's just rude and insulting. I myself have never seen one in real life, but I'd say they're a rare specimen. If people like that truly exist, then they can fuck off.

tbh i like some kpop (mainly just girl groups if i’m being honest) so i tried to talk to other people who do too.  it was a long time ago, but i realized p quickly that kpop fandom is extremely stressful.  there’s always a scandal going on, whether it’s smth small or smth huge.  the sasaeng thing, how idols are treated by their agencies (mental health, physical health, sm being shit when it comes to managing girl groups for whatever reason), rogue creeps tryna cop a feel off their favs, netizens literally ruining idols careers over very small things...even thinking about all this i feel tired.  you can’t get a break in kpop.  there’s always gonna be someone who wants to fight me when i mention that boy groups usually don’t interest me or that bts music sounds like p generic radio music imo.  kpop fans usually can’t deal with not everyone stanning their favs.

the most problems i’ve had in vk is that i’ve met two really unstable people.  this was in a different community that i won’t namedrop.  but basically those two people were working together to try to take over the community by first trying to turn everyone against each other.  that was also v exhausting bc i was a mod in that community.  but it was a long time ago.  ofc this is aside from scandal stuff.  there are some v serious vk scandals, but it seems like most people in the scene have similar feelings about those.  there’s also a lot of really dumb/funny ones here too.

In high school I managed to get my best friend's boyfriend into An Cafe for a while. I think he lowkey had a crush on Bou. The girl who sat next to me in history class always wanted to know about the pictures of Kisaki and various "women" glued to my agenda/planner. Even though it was just the standard "yeah, I know he looks like a girl but he's a dude" conversations with her, I was damn excited to have someone to talk to about visual kei and my grades in that class kinda suffered for it. Oops.

When I mentioned to one of my high school friends that I listened to visual kei, her reaction was "visual kei? sounds like visual GAY XXDDDD" and I never talked to her about it again lol.
My other friend doesn't listen to vkei either (or any kinda rock/metal at all) but she finds it somehow interesting how enthusiastic I am about it. She's mostly fine with it when I talk to her about my favorite bands and new releases and what's currently going on in the scene even though she doesn't understand a thing I'm saying.

When I got into vk and Japanese music overall, I was in high school, I start to get some real friends once I asked my parents to put me in Japanese classes, there were people who liked japanese music there, I also had friends online, since I've always lived in small Latin America countries, it's not like there are big chances of finding big groups who enjoy good music at all lol, and I remember in my class, some classmates who were not into Jmusic found gackt interesting, and they thought he was handsome I remember lol so I was successful getting some people into Jmusic thanks to Gackt's good looks XDDD  but overall, some of my bests friends I met online, they were from other countries, later when I got old and became a working adult, I had to travel to one of those countries often due to work (Mexico) and we met in person, and it was awesome, last year we even went together to the Plastic Tree concert in Mexico and it was a great experience, so I am very grateful to Internet and the wonderful people that I've been able to meet through it.

VK was remotely popular where I live at the time I was in High school, so there were some "cool kids" that liked it and i know there were some meet ups in the local scene. But being shy and introverted I never went there. And at Anime+Manga Cons I only ever stared at the VK cosplayers, never interacted with them.

At my school there was one class above me that had three girls who self identified as "Visus". That was when VK and Anime reached peak hype in the German speaking lands, so I guess between 2006 and 2008/9-ish. Youth magazines really tried hard to sell it as a subcultural movement thing, so you had people walking around saying that they are "Visus" and these three girls were fully into it, dressing in mid 00s grb and with way too much eyeliner every single day, bags donned with hundreds of band buttons and weaboo shit and whatnot.

I kinda admired it and envied that they had the guts to look like that. Nowadays I find it kinda silly though… most of those early attempts of foreigners to dress VK looked really shit (and more like Emo or Scene). And same with them. But they tried, I guess. So people at my school knew what it was, but apart from those "Visu" kiddos no one really cared that much and nowadays I doubt there's anyone but very few people left in this country who do.

Ok, some of my classmates were mallgoths (and so were I), and they kinda thought Mana looked amazing, but they still preferred to listen to Cradle of Filth and Marylin Manson, lol.

in high school, i used to make mix cds of vk bands and pass them out to my friends, acquaintances, and some random people.  i also used to show people pics of bandmen, but it was just entrapment to see their faces when i told them that whoever it was is a guy.  i was in this class called digital storytelling where you had to put presentations together using photoshop and premiere, and most of those were about vk bands too.  i’m sure my classmates loved me.  😅

    1. Opinion on feminism
as is with everything, there are people who take it too far, and others who don’t.  i’m all for the general idea behind feminism.  terfs?  not so much.

    2. Do you think people tend to generalize all feminists as “man haters”.
    some do.

    3. Would you consider yourself to be a feminist?
    probably.  🤔

    4. Does the existence of man haters or “femenazis” ruin the reputation of actual legitimate feminists?
extremists always seem to be the ones who get the most attention in media or whatever.  i think it’s most likely to make everyone look crazy, so kinda a propaganda.

    Regarding Video Games

    1. Is it okay to be Politically Correct? (EX: Making female characters less sexualized)
tbh anything you want to do is ok as long as you’re not a sexual offender, pedo, or a murderer (unless you exclusively murder sex offenders and pedos, ofc) is okay.

    2. Do you think gamers tend to be more...toxic when it comes to the inclusion of Women, LGBT etc topics in games?
    absolutely.

    3. Should female characters be less sexualized?
this one is tricky for me,  like women can wear whatever they want to.  who cares?  but fictional characters don’t decide what they’re wearing.  it’s possible to make a female char sexy without her being hypersexualized (like sena lightning).  but there are also some boss female characters who are sexualized as well, and the way they dress adds to how dope they are?  so, idk.  🤔

that's really interesting what you said, and definitely something to ponder deeply.
i didn't mean that i wanted these labels to be necessarily erased.as you said, they create a sense of community, and till that it's ok.
but the current scenario isn't good.these group of people or communities doesn't seem to be satisfied purely as a community
most of them became edgy people, trying to spread their  worldview to the masses, sometimes pushing it down your throat,by trying to create laws that puts in danger your freedom of speech, disrespecting and mockering those who don't agree with them.they're promoting the segregation of society with the excuse that it's a fight for rights and equallity.
