Personally, I am not a big fan of cover art featuring just member photos. Lycaon has great visuals and they pull it off well, but I prefer a little original artwork, I like hand drawn stuff especially. For outside example; I like the Tzk pics for the covers of Mejibray's A Priori - Shuuei - Decadence series, but I would really love to see more like the original Karma single, the "Mantichoras" face or the little drawing on Emotional Karma. Even if it looks somewhat like a kid drew it, it's very interesting to me. More so than just a pic of the newest look. Anyway, for people who have heard it already, it sounds like it's pretty great, I am still big into the last single so this is good news

    Woww very nice !
  5. No one was under the illusion that the clown shit would end XD
  6. OKAY. PV spot: it sounds good but not much different from their previous singles, this isn't so bad because as this is their first album, it will at least be an accurate representation. but please MOOOORE Arlequin/Nogod videos please
  7. WOW I love the look, Ryo's embroidered vest.... Im used to him only ever looking like he did in 9GOats and never really changing, his hair looks cool with colors in it !

  12. It sounds fucking grand, I love the intro tune in the trailer despite only hearing a second of it

I want so bad, why GHOSE?

I have listened to more SADS than Kuroyume, mostly because SADS features more of that industrial grungy rock style that normally appeals to me in and out of Jrock. but Kuroyume without a doubt has more range, and displays the endearing VK tendencies that that make me a more hopeful of a music fan as I am today. I hate to do virtually the same things as Perez but I can see why you would have to put it this way I could listen to SADS for hours when I am looking for something solidly badass that fits my taste but if I am feeling more emotional, nostalgic, or "soul-searching" (looking to make an attachment to a feeling In a song) I would look through Kuroyume instead

It's kind of unfortunately EXACTLY like AvelCain's style... from the named doll-mascot (original Avelcain) to the green/red flower colors contrasting the black clothes (current-Natsu no Owari AvelCain) even the short voice clip in the video is something Karma would do in a song intro or teaser vid. I barely know METEOROID (only from their Gemini album) but I hope they don't do the same thing with their sound, AvelCain is awesome but their coattails are not yet nearly long enough to ride....
  16. 1: PLEASE turn into a band about bugs. 2: I fucking love Aki, look at that motherfucker..
  17. Elazmus

Less hot* Karma lol but yeah that too The new single is pretty sick sounding I think it's better than Natsu no Owari, but they sound like they belong in a series like this .

I'm inclined to agree really, I can already say Kou seems to have more going for him, he gets that high range while sounding less strained, and he can sing from much lower of course too. I am also a DaizyStripper fan but I always found Yugiri to be limited.
  19. Elazmus

uhm.. AvelCain... hold on let me listen to this now...
  20. Elazmus

No I can see what you mean by that, it just didn't bother me much I guess lol !
  21. Elazmus

The falsetto on this one was very impressive. Someone mentioned that he sounds like a deeper version of Yugiri of DaizyStripper and I somehow totally agree
  22. Elazmus

All good previews, this album is going to be very solid

I've been strongly disagreed with on this before, but DEZERT reminds me of a general mix of 2002-2005 GazettE with some Nega influence, but of course done by a younger, fresher band. The vocals aren't a selling point, but they are getting steadily stronger especially with the latest single. I loved seeing the poster for their coupling live with Grieva, they go nicely together (not just for the sake of Grieva's early Diru emulation) and I think bands like this bring something cool to the scene.

Awesome !!! So we will be hearing new songs. glad it didn't rely on all the singles and minis they have now!!
