    Ok, let's be fair: METEMPSYCHOSIS is a banger, but not as good as I was anticipating. If you take out from the equation those 3-4 tracks that stand out the most, the rest of the album sounds pretty much the same throughout its entirety. I don't mean to say it is a boring album, but it does get repetitive if you don't focus on its nuances - I found myself playing it in the background without paying attention and it was just... there?
    Also I didn't really like most of the re-recordings: I despise it when the structure of the song is heavily changed. I would've really preferred a higher quality recording, not a complete rehash.

      Idk about the CHEDOARA thing, but I'm sure I *hate* the new IMITATION... It's such an iconic song of theirs, why the FUCK would you tear it apart like that?!

      I agree that a majority of the retakes don't quite stand up to the originals, but it's not like we can't just listen to the original any time instead. I do wish they hadn't changed up the composition so much on the older tracks though, a cleaner take of The Dead Sea and Mistake would have been awesome. I'm interested to see how Hunger turns out on the White edition.

      I feel like Kagami is the one who did vocal melody in the original imitation so he just let the new members deconstruct and rebuild on it and while I like some remade parts (drum machine in the 2nd half goes in lbr), it just doesn't have the same cohesion anymore.

       

      everything else is upgrade for me, the album itself is a bit too straightforward, like they intentionally didn't deviate too much with song stucture. even with that, some songs sound way more VK than I expected from DXCR.

       

      I'm very curious what their next single is going to sound like now.

    I woke up with a life-or-death dilemma: did FAR EAST DIZAIN ever publish INHALE's PV on one of their releases or is it just on YouTube? I'd look  for answers myself but their OHP is down...

      The teaser track was instrumental and more modern proggy sounding

    Idk, I was probably expecting more from JILUKA's album... Too many high expectations, I need to stop listening to previews. 😛

      I never listen to previews. Ever. They never do justice to the full song.

      I got Hellraiser when it was released in May so I knew what to expect and was very pleased with the album. Idk why everyone hates it so much xD

      Not hating on anything here, love them & their music, and I find METAMORPHOSE to be a great album! Just... I feel like I need that "extra punch". Oh well, previews never again :P

      I personally needed about 3-4 spins to fully get into it, but that's not the album's fault, it's just me needing that with every new release by any band haha

      I don't mind stuff being uploaded, as I stick to the good old "if you like it, buy it" so eventually I will buy all their discography (I know I did with the likes of DELUHI, GALEYD, NOKUBURA etc)

      Got the whole discography after listening to Divine Error. Faizh is magnificent, Twisted Pain IS A KILLER and I haven't been listening to anything else for the last four days~
