Sooo, I managed to do this ONCE, over a year ago, and completely forgot how I did it.
I think I used a combination of DVDFab9 and ImgBurn.
I need to rip another DVD now, but both of those programs are producing garbled messes. I also tried InfraRecorder but got the same result.
 
** I am NOT willing to pay for software, because I don't even watch these DVDs myself, I'm ripping because of a request. If there's no free solution, I'm just not going to share DVDs anymore.

i always assumed it was just "oooh hot guys" as has been mentioned already. like a lot of people don't really care too much about the music or talent and just want to be a fan of whoever they think is the best-looking at the time and their taste in men's looks changed.
 
personally i've been a casual k-pop listener for a long time but i'm not a huge fan of k-pop. i enjoy some of the music in a casual way like i'd listen to it while i'm doing something else and buy some CDs but i wouldn't go out of my way to buy merchandise or know the names of all the group members i'm listening to. also i lived in korea for a year and you can't avoid it there and i ended up with a lot of k-pop in my head all the time that i ended up liking. i went to one k-pop show when i lived in korea and it was possibly the most terrifying experience of my life. the show itself was fine from what i could see of it (being in a crowd of 30,000+ people waving their arms and phones in front of me) but k-pop fans in general are just scary..
if i'm going to be INTO a music group though i'd rather spend my money and effort on artists who play instruments and write music rather than artists who memorise dance routines and pretend to sing half the time and are pretty much forced on the general public by big companies with money. i don't have a problem with enjoying pop music, it just feels less worth my money to me to actually go to shows.

I find all the group Kpop dreadful. If I ever quit VK and go to Kpop, you have my permission to find me and kick me in the face.
 
I don't like the sound of the Korean language but I do listen to a tiny number of Korean solo R&B artists because the beats and/or the singing are good.
 
Mostly, I'm really salty that shit-tier Kpop got trendy in North America, so my dumbass Facebook friends post BIGBANG PVs and bond over them, while they ignore me when I talk about Japanese/Chinese music. 
This was one of the reasons I quit Facebook. >:(

I'm seriously hoping Brienne x Tormund isn't a one episode thing. I love how she's getting such attention, it makes me go all fuzzy and warm. What a woman, what a ship.

Can we also take a moment to appreciate all the little comic relief moments of this episode too? Loving how they're incorporating it in with both those two and even with Cersei when she walked in to talk with her son/King and Pycelle takes his sweet ass time awkwardly leaving as he was told to, lol.

I love it. I hope we get some comic relief with these two. 
 
 
I think this was my favorite episode of the entire show so far. Things are finally happening. EVERYTHING IS FINALLY HAPPENING. I'M SO EXCITED.

Probably has a common meaning, as an expression, while also referring to the folklore concept.

百鬼夜行 actually refers to the "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons" which is a popular concept in Japanese Folklore...

Having seen the universal praise for Uncharted 4, I've become convinced that I need to play it. I suck at shooters (and as a consequence, I don't like them very much), but I was able to get through stuff like Tomb Raider with minimal problems so I should be OK. But I want to play 1-3 first so I guess I'll pick up the collection.  .... by the time I get through those, Uncharted 4 will be down to $10 lol.

It might be a bit of hyperbole, but honestly, The Pillows music in FLCL is a huge reason why I fell in love with Jrock, and eventually why this placed ended up existing XD

Just beat Tales of Zestiria. That was an exhausting experience. I was tired of playing it (some great characters, but everything else was varying degrees of shitty), so I ran through the final dungeon as fast as possible. The last boss managed to give me two game overs (yes, even on the easiest difficulty) until I looked up a strategy. Grrrr.
 
I thought the story would make sense because I played in English (I think this is my first English Tales since the SNES Phantasia fansub) .. but no, there was just a lot of vague chatter about.. something like having to do things for the right reason, otherwise Sorey would be corrupted?? And I was totally confused by the ending, until I googled up some people's discussion of it. .. maybe I'm just getting too ADD to pay close attention to the dialogue & cutscenes.. (also, didn't help that it took me 7 weeks to finish it.. kept forgetting 'minor' details)
Anyway, glad that's over with.
 
But, oh no! I still have to play the Alisha DLC. =_=

^ Yeah it would be nice to get some news discussion going, but I did try the same thing a few weeks ago and didn't get much response. Maybe if you do it, more people will pay attention  
 
 
I would be really shocked if the Neo cost more than $400 (USD). I just don't think anyone would spend that much on a console when the older version (which is supposed to be compatible with all the same games) is much cheaper. I would expect them to price Neo at $400 and have a price drop on PS4. Considering the limitation of being tied to PS4, along with improved technology getting cheaper, they could manufacture the Neo's hardware for the same original cost as the PS4. 
 
 
Didn't see it in your quote, but I think the same guy told a story about how the studio wanted to put a black female on the cover, and Microsoft told them "Only white guys get on the cover. That's how it is." I just wanted to point out how frustrating that is, as an Asian female gamer.. The people in charge of big companies tend to think that the vast majority of gamers (in the US, I guess) are white males, so they have to target white males, so the protagonists of their games have to be white males. Of course I'm not saying that we need to stop having white male protagonists, but it would be nice if companies were more willing to take a "risk" and feature more diverse characters. (A similar problem occurs in Western music, TV, and movies as well)
 
 
I know it has a 0.0000001% chance of happening, but I would be so happy if PS3 games became backwards compatible on PS4. I have sooooooo many PS3 games in my backlog, and I still have my PS3 hooked up, but why would I turn it on when I've got a PS4 to play?? (though I guess, even if PS4 had BC, I'd be like "why would I play those OLD games when I have so many NEW games?") Alas, the PS3 was just too different.

It was about time! Honestly, I don't know what to think of it, really. They are my favorite band but despite quality previews, they haven't used their maximum potential. It lacks something. Good thing they've re-recorded 6月の雨降る夜。, I like the piano.

The collection is totally worth it, great remasters. Also don't worry about difficulty, you can just turn down the difficulty slider to a setting that's more your pace and just enjoy the game story wise from there on out

Interesting. I love R-shitei and SCAPEGOAT, but never noticed what label they were on. Hopefully this is a good sign for REIGN.
