Agreed. But I think the band put it best in their own words. To be fair though, that's a tour I'd like to see on it's own DVD release. But still, major tease.

I didn't really get into either album all that much, but after listening to Monster again just last night, this is what I can say. I don't remember much of it (I was awake enough too). I haven't listened to Music for a good 2 years and I still remember most songs off of it. Even though it fell short in my opinion, Music still had pretty catchy chorus'/break downs with songs like 'evolution', 'Break Down', 'Ultimate 4', 'asking why', and (to a certain extent) 'ishtar'. It was a re-hash of their Self-Titled with more digital flair while still keeping the catchines (Heck, I remember NOW better than Monster) The only track Monster had me like was 'antlion pit' (although 'Incomplete' and the singles had pretty catchy chorus'. Just not my cup of tea). Throughout the album I remember there being really cool riffs or electronic bits, but no real hooks or chorus' that, like Ito said, were memorable. Because of that it's difficult to put identities to individual songs. In the spirit of Halloween, it's more like a bag of mixed candies: It doesn't really matter what you pick up because they all start to taste the same. Except for the King-Sized candies some people give out. You keep those in a separate box. That's like 'antlion pit'. So basically, Halloween for Monster sucked and it only got one King-Sized candy. Maybe better luck next year.

Does anyone know if there are different editions of 9goats 'archives' comp album? As far as I know there's only one edition in a jewel case, but I'm not sure and want to double check before buying. *btw, I've checked like every website, their OHP discography, CDjapan, YesAsia, Generasia, Jpophelp, wiki, Jame, Japan Discoveries, etc.

I was at a 9goats concert front row but there wasn't even a stage. Ryo was walking through the crowds and touching peoples faces as he was singing and he touched mine! And also stepped on my foot but apologized while the song was still going (so polite). Then for some reason the concert got shut down by racists (I don't know..) and then the band held a Q and A.

I picked up their "Ice Romancer" single off the shelf today, gave that a few whirls and man.....I gotta say, I really miss their old sound. It wasn't super original but it was so Sadie. 'Recall' is such a good song too.

They'be been bitten by the Capcom bug. I sense at least 5 more future releases of this album: -one with the first press song -one with tracks from both albus and rufus combined -one with tracks from both albus and rufus + first press song -one with tracks from both albus and rufus + first press song + DVD -one with tracks from both albus and rufus + first press song + Special Booklet + another bonus song -one wi...... On a related note, I like their look. It's almost Kpop-y. It's also nice to actually make out Ryo's eyes.

Just made my first pumpkin pie from scratch!

I started watching 'abcs of death' and ohhohoho! I only could watch about 5 minutes at the time, but that alone has convinced me to invest the 2+ hours this movie runs. Wasn't scary but super entertaining.

Yaaaaaaas. My favorite thing to cook is salmon. Put on some miso, orange, garlic, onion, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar marinade, pan fry the sucker, mmm. Serve with a side of miso soup and rice with some orange slices for dessert.

Just got my first order from Closet Child! Excitement level is off the walls right now.

Just got my Closet Child order and I'm veeeery happy. I ordered all digipack CDS and they're all in pretty good condition. They did a great job of protecting them by wrapping the CDS in shrink wrap, bubble wrap, and then light and thin cardboard. Their prices are really good too. Only downside is that they only ship EMS so cheaper options aren't available. It took about a week for my order to arrive from Tokyo to Seattle. Hope this is helpful.

I just finished watching V/H/S. And..... I thought it was alright. For it's genre, I thought it was very well done. A lot of the shorts had good atmosphere and I liked the way all the videos were connected through one main story. I liked the variety of topics the different directors tackled and there were some pretty good effects. With that said though, the movie was pretty forgettable with no real scares and lacked an impact that shakes the heart. With most of the shorts, you knew how it was going to end and, as with other films of the shaky cam style, there's too much filler for my liking. For example, with Second Honeymoon, the only real tense or interesting parts constituted about like 5 minutes of the entire short (at least it only felt like 5). Some of the audio was difficult to hear and, as a result, I missed crucial parts of the stories (ex. The sick thing...Emily..) Probably isn't a complaint for most people, but there was way too much (senseless) nudity or sex related writing in the shorts for me. In Tuesday the 17th, the main girl's dialogue *before a certain event*, was really awkward and didn't add to the situation. I know guys like boobs, but almost every guy behind the camera focuses on cleavage or legs. Yes, I suppose it gives it more of a natural feel to the footage, but not every guy is a perverted sex fiend who'll do anything to get a quick peak at some boobehs. Now, I do give them credit for the final product considering they had a lot less time than a full length film to execute their ideas. That in itself is pretty impressive. But, I guess that's where some of my disappointment comes from; I'd like to see a lot of ideas fleshed out more and given the time they need to develop and build a solid story and atmosphere. Overall, it was entertaining and definitely didn't feel like a waste of time. It just didn't have that extra something to really make a lasting impression and become something historically great. This first entry, in what appears to be a trilogy so far, has definitely wetted my appetite and gets me curious enough to follow the series to experience more creepy shaky cam horrors. What would really make this authentic is viewing the movie on an actual VHS.

True, there's a lot less of that. But, I guess since they have to build a new villain every season from the ground up, it's a bit difficult to keep the action parts of the show in continuous momentum. I've been enjoying the way they've been tackling political issues through the show though. One thing that I do wish they did more is talk about the old characters more. They're barely seen or mentioned. I know this is a new series, but with such a strong group of characters from the prior series, it feels wrong and unsatisfactory to dismiss them like that.

9goats black out - Lestat I feel like this is one of the best tracks 9goats ever put out. It features all the things that made them unique: great melodies, ambient outwordly atmosphere, edgy and "creepy" guitar playing, a touch of dementedness, and Ryo's various singing styles. It definitely makes me wish they were still around.
