  1. Mind blown!! Enjoyed this album way more! Those instrumentals were brutally awesome!! The songs while not as catchy as the first album are more cohesive. I like this more serious direction for them. I think if they tried to stick with the catchy, cuteness of the first album, they wouldn't have done as well. These songs prove they aren't just a novelty one off act. They actually have some staying power!

    Favorite Tracks:

    Karate

SIS. ANGER (SO GOOD TO LISTEN TO DURING MUH WORKOUT!!)

    From Dusk Til Dawn

    Awadama Fever

    Tales of the Destinies

  2.

Are tracks like 5 and 6 usual for them? I've only ever listened to their pv songs before and nothing ever grabbed me but I'd be interested to check out their previous releases if there's more stuff like that.

If you like their songs like that, I would say they are more on their first album and earlier releases. Try these songs:

    Lost Memory

    A Day to Remember

    Genesis

    Triangle Carnage

    Maybe these too:

    Sphere

    Crimson Gate

    Gift of Prophecy

    Desperate

We Are Never Getting Back Together (cover)

  3. How to improve this song:

*Cut out the minute long build up at the intro and just start from the heart throbbing-ish sound at 1:00

*cut 3:08-3:35 - I don't think that part of the verse does that much for the song and just feels forced to go hard at that part

    * no need to go hard for an outro - end it where the 6 minute marker is.

My main gripe with this song is just too much unnecessary instrumental. They could easily take this song down by like 2 1/2 -3 minutes. Leda was to ambitious with the composition. Trying so hard to be different, that it's kind of pushes everyone away. Sometimes, you need to have a common sound in your creativity that everyone can gravitate to. By trying to make this some epic creative explosion, it comes off disjointed.

Main riff is a beast though. Slap that shit!

Keita really needs to just dirty his screams up and have some range with it. Love him to death, but this wasn't good screaming wise. Still love the cleans though.

Like Cry My Name better. More catchier and it had a more controlled sound to it. This track does show more creative promise. If they could find a balance between the two, I think we'll have a winner.

  4. Maybe it is THE END for MEJIBRAY

The song had potential to be amazing... the heavy fast paste parts were amazing but the soft slow parts really killed it for me.

Either make a really heavy song or just make a ballad i don't think the two mixed well here

I agree. Sometimes, this combination works, but it feels forced here. Personally, I agree with a hiatus, they are starting to sound kind of bland to me. I mean think of the diversity they showed when they first started, Emily - Avalon - Sadisgate, etc, etc but now its become kind of like a formula. I lose interested like 1/2 way through their songs and though this isn't a mess as much as Eiki or something, it's still not that great to me. Am I the only one who also doesn't like Tsuzuku's voice as much now? I feel like its completely random, spazzing now when he screams (sometimes its good, sometimes its dreadful) and messy. I actually enjoy his clean singing better.

  5. For sure, especially upon first listen - the part after the solo until about the 3 minute mark feels like a ridiculously long build up into the chorus. After a couple listens, I can follow it better.

I'm actually not even sure what I'm talking about ^ but I like the song as well.

I like the song overall BUT I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN. after the solo, I was like huh...I think after the solo, it could have been better if they cut it and just went back into the pre chorus. But overall, great song

  6. I'm VERY worried about this as well.

I remember Nana came to Otakon and she was laughed at because she had a back track playing. Some asshole yelled "nice recording" when she was playing guitar. I felt so bad for her. We are some rude f*cks at concerts sometimes.

I'll pay for the VIP. As the band that made me fall head over heels into Japanese music, I have to see them face to face lol
