  1. This is so depressing. All those years of Rentrer en Soi and even the beginning of his solo career were amazing. I don't know why he doesn't ask help from his mentor Kyo. Surely, he could help steer him in a better direction.  Might as well be doing his music like this. He would probably see more of a profit.

  2. Yah'll are harsh lol If you didn't see any of the members in the band, this song could easily be played on US airwaves and probably get on the billboards. It's just a mediocre mainstream song. The singer reminds me of the dude from the killers with a (for better or worse) nickleback singing voice. Mia could definitely do better, but it's not bad. This reminds me of when Yohio came out and everyone was shitting on his music because he's not Japanese. This is far from terrible. They just need a better stylist.

  3. I would love for them to come back! Yeti is a good side project, but I think Aicle is a gold mine. I don't care if they drop the whole VK thing. Just come back to us and keep making awesome music like this! Now, I have to revisit my Aicle. songs. I didn't realize how much I missed them lol

  4. It seems like we may have a dogma pt2 only the songs are more refined and not as predicatablely boring. This reminds me of when they came out with the undying single. That song was too strong to fit on that album with all that other stuff though it fit the era well. I would have put undying on this album if I could. I'm really glad Gazette is back! I wonder if they'll do another u.s. tour?

  5. Hmmm....ok...

    Pros:

    -Band and video looks awesome

-Love the chorus especially the second time when they do it different around the 2:00 mark

    Cons:

-structure of the song was....nonexistent? Nothing seemed to flow well into itself and then the chorus seems to just pop out of nowhere

-I felt the solo was just random and no bro0tal

    -mixing sounds muddy

-it's boring and I feel it drags on after the solo

Honestly, the songs they typically choose for the main song isn't my favorite so I wasn't expecting much. I look forward to the other ones that will be on the mini. This is actually the WORSE of their title songs from their releases. I don't really think it'll grow on me.

  6. This is going to be gruelling at least for me. I don't think there has ever been a time where I wasn't thrilled to hear about either one of these bands releasing music. They both have a similar sound which basically covers everything imaginable lol even though vistlip came first,  I think they both have about the same amount of popularity (correct if I'm wrong). So let's take a look at just some of the amazing music each band has provided over the years and decide:

    Vistlip

    Spoiler

    My favorite workout song

    Unite.

    Spoiler

    Also my favorite workout song

So difficult!!  I think I'm going to give unite. the edge here.  Even though they are a younger band,  I feel like they continue to capture the spirit that brought mE to vistlip while vistlip is going for a more mainstream appeal (though the songs are still great). I feel they've stepped back from having a diverse sound in one song like a VK band should have and just went for more straightforward music.

    What do you think?

  7. I keep rooting for this band, but have no idea why. While I enjoy some of the instrumentals, I haven't liked anything except their first uploaded song. Maybe I could get into this latest song if I didn't see those hilarious lyrics or perhaps if they were trying to be a parody of some sort. I'm probably the only one who isn't on the hype train, but because the instrumentals are good, I'll continue to keep an eye for something else I can like.

  8. I honestly don't care if they talk shit or not as long as they've played a good show for me. They are the band that single handedly pulled me into the VK scene when I was growing up. Come here. Take my money. Rock out. Go home. I odn't need to know anything outside of that. As for the album, I'm just hype they are making new music. Like most of their albums after DIM, I'll probably be hype over it. Play the shit out of it for 1-2 months and then throw it into the rest of the Gazette files for nostalgia purposes months and years down the road.
