  1. Grimes and Beach House are definitely gonna be on my list too, bit otherwise, didn't care for/ didn't know too much else.
  2. I was a little disappointed when I saw the setlist from yesterday, but this one is solid!
  3. A lot of thoughts on this! -7 types is a steaming pile of horseshit, BUT I'm assuming the Y/M//L/H/S means that they are composing the b-side track, in which case, I'm super excited. "H" has so few songs, so I'm looking forward to his, but all of them, tbh. -I immediately thought of "io" when I saw the title (this connection seems confirmed by the regular edition b-side), so I'm wondering if this song will also be composed by LiN? -Um, is UNiTE. going pseudo art-kei with that look? I support this.
  4. Omg, can someone be sure to record this??

On a completely superficial note, the band pics collectively look really cool this time around Will return with actual comments after writing my papers this week!
  6. Yay, glad to see some other fans! Which track(s) from the mini did you all enjoy the most?
  7. On the whole, I like Chanty's newest single even more than m.o.b.!

Holy shit, I just realized how much getting into Kiryu can be a chore, haha. They have about 57 singles... Anyway, my personal favorites are the following: 明鏡止水 (1st album) 水無桜 (2010 single) 屡流 (2010 single; don't love the a-side, but those b-sides) 鬼祭 (2011 single; don't love the a-side, but those b-sides) 朱花艶閃 (3rd album) 愛怨忌焔 (2013 single) Glad to see you wanting to check them out, Cat!
  9. Yikes, I am not feeling that out-of-tune cover from 赤い公園. Damn them for tainting a classic. 10-FEET and 9mm Parabellum Bullet seemed to do a good enough job of covering my other faves though. Regardless, this is a cool concept and I'd love to see more of these kinds of compilations!

Lafflesia is my favorite Tetsu song, so at least they have good MM taste!
  11. Lol, breakdancing and sparring with French Santa?! Oh, Chanty, you and your PVs!

Their newest single as "HOSHI NO HOUSE" was so underwhelming, especially after such a long hiatus. Sad to see Icchi go, again, but... I kind of don't believe him. Looking forward to your next band, d00d.
  13. YESSSSSSSSS!!! Please let it be more of a maxi-single or mini-album!
  14. addle apple is still my favorite release, so I appreciate how they're already referring to it in the title of this one. Looking forward to this!
  15. Everyone's pretty much on the KEEL bandwagon, but I hope HOLLOWGRAM shows some improvement and manages to compete. They've had plenty of time to come up with some more exciting work. Also, Yuki, please write the music!
  16. Still no news on the second single グリザイユの胚珠 (grisaille no haishu)?
  17. fitear1590

Noice, "Eternal White" is a great track!
  18. ^^I actually really like their first single! Yeah, the actual sound quality is a bit like a demo, but the ambiance is so nice and refreshing! It made the songs more unpredictable. I wish they would combine the ambient elements of those two songs with the punchier production of this one. Their image is really cool though! Looking forward to seeing this band grow.
  19. I make a big ritual of opening new CDs (I have to set aside a good 10 or 15 minutes, haha), but I can think of 2 CDs that are unopened. One, I downloaded before the CD arrived and realized I disliked it, so I am keeping it unopened, just in case I can sell it one of these days. The other is another CD I downloaded, but I have already seen booklet scans, so I just haven't felt too compelled to open it.

A mamimume monster-sized reply, incoming. First of all, thank you so much for all the replies and positive feedback! I enjoyed reading through all of your comments and I'm glad to see so many recent Aicle. converts and potential new fans! Yasss, level 5! That song seems even more bonkers coming after the sugary sweet level 1 track "心臓。" This makes me really happy Glad I could help! So, I'm not too familiar with old Ayabie; could you recommend a song for me to check out as an Aicle. fan? Nice choice! According to the poll, "que sera:sera" is one of their most popular tracks (I kind of figured that would happen), edged out only by "psycho x letter"! Yes, level 4 is brilliant! I wish they had even more tracks like "death lolli-chou-pops" and "kuru kuru. to taiji mawaru". I love how he is just counting sheep in "【d2b2】". The lyrics turned out to add even more to why I like Aicle! Thanks to "moonwalkingpenguin" and "Uke Yutaka", we have translations to the majority of the band's songs, so be sure to check their channels out! Np, I love that song! It's a shame it was never properly released on a single or album. Just out of curiosity, do you remember which songs made you feel this way? Maybe the "心臓。 (shinzou.)" PV from level 1?

Darn, I didn't win you over, haha. Thanks for the reply though. I'm glad you enjoyed the article!

Didn't care for ViViD too much, but Reno was pretty talented. It's kinda impressive that he landed a major label deal and they haven't even secured a vocalist.

So the US has finally gone the way of German YouTube?
  24. fitear1590

Lol, that's what I was thinking. Secilia Luna and now Jupiter really dig deep for that fancy Christian vocabulary.
  25. Since when are Danger Crue's YouTube videos blocked in the US?!
