    No shade to LONDBOY fans, but I did not enjoy the new album. "Open your heart" (their first single) is still BY FAR my favorite song of theirs. None of the new songs on this album even compare. What did everyone else think of 少年事変 (shounen jihen)?

      Same as you, except Iris is my favorite song of theirs. But yeah none of the new tracks grabbed my attention. Tbh none of the b sides on Iris did anything for me either so I didn't really have any high expectations for the album. :(

      haven't seen much praise around either. it's clearly a rushed album. Even the production is messy to say the least.

      i thought the first half of the album was pretty bad, but the second half had some nice tracks. other than their single A-sides (all of which i love), DATURA and ギフト were the only tracks that i really enjoyed from the album. maybe my expectations were too high this time haha. i still think they have enough potential for me to continue following them though :)
