My bf and I powered through the first 2 seasons on Netflix in under 3 days... he loves the first season and hates the second, ALL because of the aliens. And possibly because he got a new smart phone and spent most of season 2 watching/playing with the new phone. My bf complained for the first few episodes of season 2 that most of the main cast was the same, but it never bothered me. I mean, the actors are playing different characters in a different story, so who cares if it's for the same show?! I have to agree with peace about the need for the aliens when all they do is help Kit impregnate 2 women, enlist Penny, and take Kit back when it's his time. Penny explained that they were there to do genetic experiments, but we don't even see the kids when they are adults! Well, in any case, the aliens abducting Kit and making him crazy gave the police a reason to arrest him for the Bloody Face murders (they had no real reason otherwise). Both seasons were great. I decided to watch season 3 alone when it's on netflix. XD

Does my phone bill count? No? I bought the monthly train ticket to go visit my daughter for the month... that counts, right? No? Uhm... a double sided fleece-type winter blanket as a gift and a royal blue, 3/4th sleeve, button-up shirt that I can wear to interviews/work.... I suppose I could take pictures, but meh. XD

I was going to bite the bullet and buy this over Nintendo's 3DS eshop, but eshop has been down ever since I made my decision! (It was working about an hour before I decided to buy one of the versions. XD) I think that's fate telling me to stick with physical copies... I'm leaning towards Y for Purrloin/Liepard. I no curr 'about anything else.

I tend to read manga on my tablet through an app, so I pick mangas that are finished and/or over 20 chapters long. My list is rather.... extensive. I buy the English releases of manga I really love (when I have money to do so), but my bookshelves are a huge overflowing, disorganized mess right now. Aion, I can't speak for other moms, but I know that I was extra cautious about dating because of my daughter. It took a long time for me to [finally ] introduce men I dated to my little girl because..... well, I was/am paranoid and over protective. What does the mom want from seeing you? If she's thinking long term, then you'll eventually have to tackle things like parenting styles and discipline. I learned the hard way that conflicting parenting styles is a major deal breaker. The other differences can be overcome with compromises (a vacation with sightseeing AND the beach or alternating who picks, for example). I'd suggest going out on a few more dates then asking her about it when it seems right (for all I know she might just like the time to herself and the sex *shrug*). As for the first chick... those sound like legit reasons (maybe she couldn't afford the gas, even if you were willing to pay for everything else). She seems quite busy, so would she have TIME for a distant (hour+, you said) relationship? She doesn't seem to prioritize you right now. An ex of mine always said that you needed the right person and the right time for a relationship to work, having either of them be wrong meant disaster for the relationship. I'd recommend communicating with her about it; if she's honest with you then you might be able to work this problem out. I wish you all the happiness, no matter who you may (or may not) end up dating.

Just wondering, am I the only one who loved/loves Matt Frewer as Sherlock Holmes? My friends either never heard of (and thus never seen) his set of movies or they hated him. ;_;

I love most of the adaptations I've seen. I heard about Elementary at Comic Con last year (and got some free branded swag), but I haven't seen the show. I don't think it's on Netflix yet (where I do most of my TV-watching). I look forward to season 3 and how they explain the ending of season 2.
