  1. Awww-shit? Maybe? *huggles dak* Would it be insensitive to reply on topic with the awesome stuff my bf does? :X He's already "trained" for pregnancy cravings (he likes to go out at night so he's always asking if I want/need anything so he can go buy it for me). XD Too bad pregnancy won't happen for at least 2-3 more years or so. (Must finish school!)

  5. I tend to have better luck with my online friends than my irl friends. The main reason seems to be that I can find the kind of people I WANT to be friends with online because our physical locations don't matter; we can easily bond and become friends via the internet. I prefer the quality of the friend over WHERE we met. There is simply a larger pool of people online, more people of high compatibility but also more people you'd want nothing to do with. I have recently decided that a group of irl friends are not worthy of the "friends" title. I will be dropping 5 of them, but that means the loss of at least 4 other mutual friends. These irl friendships were all fine until the day one of the guys in a relationship started "flirting" with me... he then started to lie about me to cover his own arse. From there they grew to resent the time I spent focusing on my education; they took it as a personal betrayal that I would pick to study for an exam over sitting around for hours with them. The main reason it took me months to make the decision is because I placed EXTRA value on them for being local. Truth is, I would trade all 9+ of them for certain MH members to live closer to me. I never divided my friends based on where I met them, I always grouped my friends via level of trust.

I know I've read this thread before because I remember a lot of the animals. I'm a huge animal person. My favorite, above all others, are cats. In the past I have had dogs, a chicken (as a true pet, not used for fresh eggs), lizards, snakes, various freshwater fish, frogs/salamanders, caterpillars (we released them when they became butterflies), a rabbit, and a few ant farms. I have taken care of pet rats and wouldn't mind having a pet rat of my own in the future. I also like ferrets, sugar gliders, select breeds of bird, hamsters, chinchillas, and oh-so-many more! I'm afraid that I don't have any pets at the moment. Growing up I also had multiple pets. When I moved out I was only able to keep one of my cats, but she died last year at the young age of 11 or 12 years. I adopted another cat from a shelter late last year but she was stolen... =/ I suppose it was for the best since my new landlord won't allow pets at all. I hope to move soon..... I miss my furry babies.

For the sake of the relationship and to avoid "rocking the boat", I tend to let important conflicts slide to the wayside. Especially when I'm focusing on other things like my education and daughter. With my most recent ex I would stop trying to make compromises because he had a strong "I'm right, you're wrong, and my way is the only way" mentality. I could've signed up for Student Advantage and saved 15% on all my monthly Amtrak travels, but his brother had a bad experience with either that company or a similar one so he wouldn't "allow" me to join. I could've been saving at least $100/year after paying for the annual SA card fees. It's been all my money anyway, so it wouldn't have cost him a penny. I deal with so much conflict in life that I don't want to deal with conflicts in my relationships. It's a lot for me to work on. (I have improved, and my current boyfriend is less combative as well.)
  16. I'm usually fine with facial hair, but it has to LOOK good on the guy. I've seen some men where they look so much better clean shaven.

I'm surprised yasu didn't ask how old you were. Happy birthday, champ. ^_~
  20. Thing is, those can be considered school supplies and would pass a financial aid audit.
  21. I'd probably end up infected because I have to travel pretty far to get my daughter. I don't care, I ain't leaving her! The fabulous part is that my boyfriend would probably let me eat him, so there would be 2 zombies for the price of 1! (My best friend knows to do me in and then to do my boyfriend in, regardless if he's infected or not, for being a freaking idiot.)
  22. I think "medicine" should only be in the god tier if you mean doctors and the like. Nursing, on the other hand, should be down a notch or two. There is NO shortage of nurses in the USA, unless you go to the rural areas in the middle. The media keeps talking about nurse shortages and shit, but it's all a lie based on manipulated data. Can you guess my major? --- Other things to consider include: transportation / ease of access (to, from, and across campus) housing (not all of us live with our family, so a cheap apartment literally across the street from school is a lifesaver ^_~) do idiot students have an occupy movement going on, claiming not to afford tuition but could afford a brand new 4-person tent for the cause? scholarship availability the school's reputation (known for excellent/piss-poor classes; most important for transferring) student services (help you find a job, fill out school paperwork, etc)

Found out that I was accepted to my first (and, because of location, only *cough*) choice nursing program! I start next semester! (Sucks for my classmates who have been waiting a year to get into ANY program though....)

Had it "up to here" with my child of a boyfriend. I decided to go home and he tried to physically block me so we could "talk"... I still went home, but he went home crying. ksaduhgouwaerhothaw4eptihaw;oi Don't touch me when I'm pissed!

I may or may not attend the concert. It all depends on how cheaply I can get this semester's textbooks (last semester cost me over $500 D: ). Not to influence your decision at all. ^_~ Well, i have to see if i could as well. And kinda have second thought after watching the Wacken stream yesterday. NUT, if i went, and you went, and D.L.S went, we can be happy people among the crowds yes? ;D Meet up time! And you would be one of.... 2?..... people from the forum with my number. ^_~
