Will there be a way to buy them without being in the stream, waiting for the items to pop up though?

We're brainstorming a few different ideas, including "silent auctions" similar to yahoo auctions where bidding will last a week. We've been working on a store update for a while now, but progress has been slow. We have a bit more time now that the streams are every other month, so expect an update this month.
