THE NOVEMBERS - 今日も生きたね (kyou mo ikita ne)
As far as the general concept goes it's not really anything revolutionary, but there's something about its simplicity and overall execution that I just really like. Having the band members all walk onto the scene separately before meeting up and leaving together as one group is simple yet effective, and it really fits the overall feel of the song rather well in my opinion.
 
雨のパレード (ame no parade) - ペトリコール (Petrichor)
I'm a sucker for well-executed interpretive dance PVs in general, but this particular one takes the cake for having really good cinematography and scenery to boot.
 
I actually can't think of many others from this year that stood out to me. 2013 seemed to be full of them but 2014 has felt rather "meh" as far as PVs go in my opinion.

Definitely praise to the html overlord for a sweet looking layout! Seriously, nice job there.
Nice list too.  Everyone digs such a wider range of music than I pegged them for, it's really awesome to see that.
 
Co-signed: Wagakki band That was just such a cool and unexpected release this year. Glad to see it's still included here. Though, I was pretty sure it would be.   Likes: 101A, Animals As Leaders I had no idea there was a 101A release this year!! I need to get my hands on that one right away. And AAL put out a great album this year. I was really close to including TJOM in my list too, but ended up really trimming down my international artists. After seeing your list now, though... I wish I didn't.    Thanks for these: Clark, Hail Spirit Noir, Jizue, Lost Ubikyst in Apeiron, Martyrdöd, Tech N9ne Hail Spirit Noir have a nice doom-ish feel about them. I definitely need to look into them more. Whoa! Dat Lost Ubikyst in Apeiron tho. I was hooked from that first note just about. Also need more of that artist in my life. And Tech N9ne, CAT5's been playing him in plug and getting me hooked.    Also, not sure if it's just me but the Run the Jewels vids are blocked by SME so I can't watch them. 

Good to see B-T there~ Also, I somehow totally forgot that the Crosses album came out this year... a solid release nevertheless!
 
There's some stuff on here that I might check out later, mainly the Japanese 'core stuff I've missed out on this year (like I know Crystal Lake are pretty rad but I somehow never listen to them that much). Some possibly interesting international picks too, gonna go "hunting" there in the first weeks of the new year I guess.
