JcKuQFQUfiA I really like this longer preview. The way it starts is great but dislike the forced headbanging to it. Sorry, i dont know how to make the video appear on here.
-
I like the way the preview starts but i dont like when bands headbang and it looks fake like this. Either way i really like this preview and I want this single to come out already http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JcKuQFQUfiA

Excited with this news, Pleased with the previews~ It sounds like a song fit for the season it is released in. Nice melody to it (ProudiA). Rage of Fact sounds good as well and Dig Fxxcker as well I think I'm going to be pleased with this single like the rest. Keep it up BORN!!! A bit soon after releasing an album beginning of this year, but, LET'S GO FOR A NEW ALBUM!
-
Haha mine too God they sound so great, they sound more mature than usual. I think I'm gonna love this single

Honestly, Dir en Grey, never been much of a fan of them. DIFFERENT SENSE single changed me otherwise and this album just hit me strong and its amazing! I had my own opinions but after reading what the people that actually reviewed this album said, I re-listened and I love it so much more. Like everyone, VANITAS and Ruten no Tou are absolutely great. I listened to VANITAS the first time during the night, cold breeze, full moon being hidden behind clouds and my god it was the most perfect atmosphere created by this song. Ruten no Tou as well, it just has all these strong points, the way that Kyo adds some screaming in there and it blends in with the song. Top songs for me also were THE BLOSSOMING BEELZEBUB, DIABOLOS, 「欲巣にDREAMBOX」あるいは成熟の理念と冷たい雨, 獣慾, and 滴る朦朧. Unlike other people, AMON didn't do it for me as much but maybe that will change. For now, I give this album a 9/10, it's a pretty damn good album

Let's just hope this single actually gets uploaded somewhere
-
^ That's mostly cause they have all these songs saved up. Heart of Gold was 6 months old already.

Well i thought this single was really good. My review? Here it goes SLEEPER: This song was really great and the PV is also great. The song starts of nice and gets right into the chorus. After the chorus finished it gets into an acoustic part by Sakito that I swear is just beautiful. The song then progresses right back into the usual tempo as the start, the chorus somehow reminds me of VERMILION (This is most likely just me) but a bit more louder and faster but I still like it. Sakito's guitar solo is just pure gold just what i expect from Nightmare and Sakito. The way they end this song is just lovely and a great choice with an acoustic part, I absolutely love the song for this, it makes it more memorable of a song. The one part I disliked about this song was when the song slowed down after the solo and Yomi's voice got a little bit of distortion. I felt that was unnecessary and useless on Yomi. I give it 9.5/10 Star Spangled Breaker: This song didn't so it for me at the start because it sounds muffled at the beginning and it sounds like there's no emotions or feelings coming out of the members most of the time since it sounds calm. Finally when they start getting into the chorus it starts sounding better. The solo does it justice and makes up for it, however short. After the solo, the song does start getting better for me. It gives me a rainy day mood to and the ending is just as the rain stop and the sunlight bursts through cracks in the clouds I give this song an 8/10 for boring me at the beginning a bit. Airisu- This song starts of pretty awesome if i do say so. Yomi's vocals sound muffled here as well but they aren't as bad and I actually like it. The chorus was nice, a bit catchy but nice. What surprised me was the solo coming in early. It's usually after the 2nd chorus but it was great nonetheless, Yomi then resumes singing the same way as the first verses bt the song starts gaining tempo and it gets more upbeat. I feel it sort of grabbed me with that. Honestly, i dislike songs that fade out unless the ending is in a way that suits but this just faded so i didn't really like that. 9/10 for the fade out :\ I liked this single, not as much as VERMILION but it was good. It had some parts that i didn't like but it was all in the b-sides, the a-side grabbed me more than the rest which is unusual for me. But, eh, to each his own

Anyone heard this band and release? It's really good and I find them to be very promising band. α- It starts off pretty cool, I am immediately grabbed by Subaru's vocals. The music in the background gives the song a certain "flavor" The chorus is nice, and it makes the song feel like something you can rock out to but it's also a very mellow song. There's a part that starts at 1:52 and the lead guitar sounds really sick which got the song some points. The breakdown was nice but I felt it wasn't as cool as the rest of the song has been for me. The ending riff is just freaking awesome. I give this song a 10/10 I'm going to be replaying this song many times. JOKER- The drums start this song off and then followed by a pretty cool intro if i do say so myself. The guitars are cool and once Subaru begins singing I am once again grabbed by them, also the way that after he sings the first verses, what he sung is repeated in the background again. The chorus feels like it's the same style as "α" but it still does it for this song. Kazuki's solo is pretty awesome and I just love it when they add a little bit of tapping and it works! Then a bass solo by Koudai and he ends it with a slap, NICE! I thought my headphones were getting screwed up by the way it ended and the distorted noise put on the bass. I give this song a 10/10 as well. It's a great song by them, doesn't disappoint. still- This song is a great slow type of song. It sounds very mellow and peaceful and i can imagine myself walking to this song or staring to the sky with it. His voice just doesn't stop impressing me for some reason. This band has very nice bridges and verses on the guitars and the little melodies they add in are great. Stuff I would like to be playing if I had tabs or more experience playing by ear. The bassline is noticeable in this song (didnt mention it before) and i like the way it sounds, it sort of amplifies the mood of the song for me when I actually pay attention to it. Kazuki's solo comes in very nicely and for some reason I get like ViViD feeling to the song from one of ViViD's slower tempo songs. I've never really liked songs that fade out cause it makes me think "No! Don't Go...." but this song leaves in a way that makes it more suitable than just finishing of with a last chord. BIG SURPRISE, i give this song a 10/10. Honestly, this single completely got me and I love it. this single gets the big 10/10 and I get the feeling I am going to be listening to this single for quite sometime. At least until their new album comes out in November 30th

You know, I come in here to expect seeing some ACTUAL reviews about the release but all i get is 3 pages of "generic" and "crap" I thought the reviews sections was to rate the release and give reasons for their decisions and not just say "its the same old generic crap, they should disband already" After listening to it some more: REMEMBER THE URGE: It was kinda "meh" but after a while it started sticking and I like it. It was pretty cool what Aoi and Uruha did with how their guitars are contradicting themselves doing their own, then once chorus comes in they "unite." The guitar solos by Uruha are always great to me and this one didn't displease. I give this song a 7.5/10. CLEVER MONKEY: Okay this song was pretty cool with its great guitar riffs! Like most comments on YouTube, Ruki is my favorite vocalist for those laughs. The one thing I disliked was that after the first verse, the 2nd part was just a repeat and i honestly thought I had rewinded the song but the way the tapping solo just came in was great and I loved that. The ending was pretty nice and i found myself headbanging to it. I give this song an 8/10 Chijou: The way it starts off real slow i was thinking of VOICELESS FEAR and then suddenly it gets the screaming in and I thought THE TRUE MURDEROUS INTENT's intro haha. This one also feels like it repeats but it strays with the "kami wo naderu no wa" and then it goes real fast tempo and then back into the chorus. The chorus felt unfinished and i thought "Really ruki?" until I saw his twitter and how he stated it was done that way purposely and he felt it would be great live. I honestly think this song is my fave of the single for some reason. Maybe because of the mood it gives and like some are saying, it has a "DIM" sensation to it. I give this song an 8.5/10 Overall, this single gets an 8/10 from me. I kind of like that RTU wont be included in TOXIC since it feels like a filler but it was still a decent single and its not a waste of my time.

Thoughts? I think this single is a lot better than BLUE FLAME...a lot! Heart of Gold is a great rock song and the way Tora and Hiroto did the unison playing thus Tora not wanting to add a guitar solo in was great. Ray was a slow song compared to Heart of Gold but once again Tora knows how to compose a song! ハイカラなる輪舞曲 (another version) was a great remake. it's so different than the original and also I loved this song at their TOKYO GALAXY live and i am so glad it has that sick bass solo! This single from me deserves a 9/10. It doesnt get 10 because Heart of Gold didnt have a guitar solo, my guilty pleasure xD
-
I dont know where RAY was aired but here is the full song~ I gotta say. It's really pleasant. It's not like Heart of Gold where you can rock out to but its more of something melodious. Once again, Alice Nine doesn't disappoint with their guitar solos and bass solos. http://www.mediafire.com/?70vi9hpwmp9xha2

Okay yeah, im total huge gazette fan. I loved ALL of their post DIM singles but REMEMBER THE URGE single wasn't at all that great. Remember the Urge was all right. Once again, they catch me with their riffs and solos and that starting drumroll but it was a pretty plain song. CLEVER MONKEY was a short song...it felt like they got a bit lazy on that one and the only thing i remember from it is the tapping solo. Chijou was actually my fave song on this single but yet it also felt unfulfilling. This still doesn't lower my expectations for TOXIC but I'm not gonna be spamming this single on my iPod.
-
Can i be the first to say, I loved all three of their singles prior to Cold Blood and I especially loved Cold Blood. I cant wait for this single to come out and I hope its as good or better than their past 4 releases.
-
So what did you all think of their new album? Please lets try to be clean here and not just coming to hate on this great band.
-
Are those tracklist from their OHP? No the tracklist is fake, its fan-made. There is still no news on the tracklist on their OHP or Ruki's twitter. And also, Ruki was mentioning that they were finishing up the last song either today or yesterday so they wont have a tracklist probably for a little bit
-
I have to say 鳥籠御殿 〜L’Oiseau bleu〜 had to be one of their best songs i've heard from them...i've only heard everything after 7th rose, but it was truly amazing me being a piano and guitar player. The rest of the 2 songs however were kind of uninteresting, i usually skipped them Overall: 7/10 cause of the other 2 songs
-
I dont know why but i laugh when someone already has their opinions of which past singles are better just by a 36 second preview. I'm thrilled for this single and TOXIC as well. Gonna preorder them both and I bet they will be awesome...at least to me. Dont know about you lot
-
I have to completely agree with those 2! And yeah, I could definitely hear the little synthetic parts that they used in PEREZTROIKA, Especially in their PAINZ mini
