Okay, I know DOAK get a lot of hate, but this sounds reaaaaally good imo.

Nope, no need to worry. This says they'll perform in new costumes soon. Which is why you can get a DVD of their shooting with the old ones at a live.
They did update their OHP look, but despite different hair-do and all, the costumes were the same.
So... rather something to look forward to!

"UNPOPULAR" opinion: Frequent disbandment is not unique to Visual Kei
From what I've observed over the years, there seems to be a common notion that the VK scene is highly unstable and unhealthy, and thatVK bands disband at the speed of light. I completely understand why some people might feel this way, but I think perspective is very important here. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of passionate Visual Kei fans abroad - people like @Trombe who tirelessly deliver news from every nook and cranny of the scene, and people like our good MH users here (@Champ213, @Biopanda, @Mi'ihen, @Yuki No Sai, @robkun, @kyoselflove, too many to name) who have gone out of their way to purchase and share all kinds of indie and rare VK goodies with overseas fans, we tend to have a rather enlarged and distorted view of VK as a whole. The overwhelming fervor found in the overseas Visual Kei fanbase simply doesn't exist for most other areas of Japanese music, like Japanese Jazz or folk/ssw for instance (although I wish it did). Bands outside of VK disband all the time - we're just much less aware of them. Most of us are viewing visual kei under a microscope and ignoring the peripheries. Common sense dictates that not every 4 to 5 guys with instruments and a makeup kit will find success.

I really hope he will return, even though it doesn't sound like that.
Maybe he needs some time off, travel, explore, get a new job – whatever it is, the band is holding him back. And whenever he found that happiness, maybe he'll realize that playing in the band next to his other plans is still possible.
Or so I'm telling myself. I wonder if D.I.D. will still exist, if he ever decides to come back.
Tohma is an amazing guitarist and a very lovely person, so he will be missed.

Super hyped about all those annoucements. They could have filmed a MV in a dark room or on Mars and I still would have freaked out becaaause D.I.D. are finally back!
I will definitely download the iTunes songs, to support them. They complained about the illegal downloading and found a fair way for people to get their hands on the songs. I may not be a fan of digital releases, I love collecting CDs, but if it means supporting the band, I will gladly do it!

Rumor has it he knocked up a girl. Still counts as family issues lolololol. I always liked Satoshi, but I really furrowed my brows when reading he was back with ERIZA. Like: dude what. Then again, he's talented as fuck, so that makes ERIZA more promising. Don't curr about his babies.

Maybe they're looking for a new member, that takes time. Maybe they just want to ensure 'Fatal Error Race' is up to the high standard they've delivered previously. We don't know.
 
All I care about at the moment, is that Akane is doing well. I was pretty much expecting him to not return at all. But there he is, giving it all he can.
 
I don't mind waiting, I'd prefer that over them rushing the release.

I think in order to release an album, he needs a 'steady' line-up, people he can work with. Of course I don't know what the future will bring, but right now it seems he tries to reach more fans by doing many lives, rather than coming up with a solid release. And their label is self-produced, right? So who knows if Yuuki can afford it already. But I'd be moooore than happy to have a release we can actually buy though. Until then, waiting and cheering.

Raven makes me cry with how terrible it sounds, like... what is that crap? I cannot believe how people did/do overhype that track. Just give me Slivers.exe, KILLING ME, Sabbat and カルマ-瓦礫のマンティコーラース-, anything where they weren't generic yet, that makes me happy enough.

They do appear in there. I think it is mentioned that the female protagonist listens to 'weird/dark rock music' (or something like this, I don't know how exactly they word it) and then the viewer gets to see 3 seconds of Yuuki's face, from a live. Accompanied by a growl.
That's all. Nothing more. They're featured in the credits for these few seconds.

I'm actually a little pissed that we've been waiting for a decent live DVD for almost 10 years (as stated above) and then they only sell it via their online shop and in two types. That's just ridiculous.
So if a foreigner wants it, he has to pay extra costs for a shopping service. If we want to see their whole perfomance, we need to buy two DVDs because it's cut in the middle.
Sadie are signed to the same label and you get their DVDs thrown at your feet. How many do they have by now? 8? 9? 150?
And all Awoi ever offered was crows after growing which is low quality live clips with the CD's music playing to it and the live that was on the B-Type of the Owari no Melody mini. Quality was equally horrible. 
No Awoi, just no.
