  1. What was SuG thinking with SHUDDUP? What a convoluted mess of half assed songs... even the production quality is not on par with recent releases, can't really understand. Most of the tracks sounds like boring fillers of their boring ass 2011~2012 period. Zig Zag could be decent with a bit more work, maaybe Fly Wyverns, and Scream it Louder is ok/good. You can pass on the rest and go back to BLACK or VIRGIN

So @AimiGen7the thing with SuG is they go from making really good music to trying to make edgy songs that 12-14 year old angry teens  will like.  Usually those songs aren't the greatest. But SuG always had a very...'youthful' sound? I don't know how to put it, sort of fun and a bit dumb.

SHUDDUP really is a lame attempt at being edgy, I think after their european tour they wanted to try more of the punk scene. Takeru said London's punk scene really inspired him, so judging by SHUDDUP their view of punk is rebelious, rude youth that hate their parents or something. I think if I were my 15 year old self I would've sung along to it, but this is a miss for me.

yeah, I can't quite pinpoint what's the rationale besides releasing songs for some easy cash. The thing is, SuG is also at their best when doing angsty-edgy vibe... for example, they can't go harder than MISSING or punkier than Smells Like Virgin Spirits, and those are some fucking good tunes. their BLACK album is pure teenage drama, and it's their best one so far. KILL KILL is more or less the same as SICK'S or Luv It to me: meeting their contract's release quota and securing some sweet year end money

Missing is one of my favorites and I actually really liked SICK'S, the PV concept was really nice.

imo BLACK and Tokyo Muzical Hotel were the best, in BLACK the sound is mature and heavy and (sorry for the lame word) there's some really groovy sounds and TMH has a bunch of fun songs. Both represent what SuG is best at.

But we have to remember, SuG have always had a track record for releasing non-stop filler money grab singles. Umbilical, Life to die, toy soldier, Gimme Gimme, Koakuma Sparkling...yeah i could go on. I just hope they stop experimenting/wasting time and find their style already.

I'm actually curious to know what people think are some of SuG's best releases?
