"The eighth studio album from the Japanese rockers follows 2008's 'Uroboros', with guitarist Kaoru claiming to NME, the album is "more savage" than the band's previous releases. "The record comes from a deeper world and is completely different from any of our past works," he said. Speaking about the content and lyrical inspiration of the 14-track collection, bassist Toshiya said: "We live in a world where we don’t know what is the truth and what we should believe in. I just wanted to put some hope into the music that we create."" ( http://www.nme.com/news/dir-en-grey/56900# ) deeper world? guess he's referring to their new 7-string-toys this album will probably be a fest for all the br00talfags (like me...) ^^ just hope they don't completely abandon their nice melodical touch tho

thanks you soooo much, i think i enjoyed every single minute of that gig, would love to have that as a dvd. kinda restored my faith in tasuro, on the winter-parade i thought his voice lost its sparkle, but i guess he either just had a bad day, or the sound-engineer robbed him of his power. beautiful this, had some excellent 3,5 (!) hours here (even despite the bad quality, and miya butchering every single guitarsolo, but that was to expect ) ^that²!

Yet everyone comes and posts "Karma suxx" or "I miss their BR00TAL songs" or "poppish shit". MUCC and Giru's topics are all about that. Just take Karma out and put GO/NOW. XD Kinda funny tho that they are in the same label and are following the same mainstream pop direction whatsoever + fans raging hurr durr... What next, danger crue records? actually mucc just transfered to sony http://www.tokyohive.com/2011/05/mucc-a ... ial-event/ after this and the akatsuki release my exitement for this single has kinda dropped (well, the label change isn't nessessarily bad actually...)

oh god, hopefully this will be good again, i was so disappointed by their last album, but i still have faith. they have done so many great things in the past, they have earned themselves one (maybe two) crappy releases ^^

have collected quite a bunch of stuff over the time, (click to enlarge) guitars: bottom row left to right: Gretsch Synchromatic modified with two p90 pickups, (tenor saxophone selmer mark6), 5-String ESP-LTD Bass Guitar, Ibanez RG270 modified with two passive EMG HZ3 Humbuckers top row : inflatable Gibson Les Paul Studio Custom , 4-String Peavey Milestone Bass-Guitar, Michael Kelly Patriot Baritone-Guitar with two Gibson 490 (or so?) Humbuckers and a still unfinished self-build Strat, which will get a p90 on the bridge and a Singlecoil on the Neck Amps Randall RH 200 Solid State Head, Marshall 1960A 4x12 Cab, Ashdown Peacemaker 20 all-tube Combo, Hughes&Kettner Basskick 707 Fullstack (and on the pics aswell my Selmer Sopran- and Alt-Saxophone) Other: Presonus Firepod 8 Channel Micpreamp/Soundcard, Hughes&Kettner Metal Master Recording Tube-Preamp (this thing is awesome!!!!), Dunlop Crybaby Wah, Self built Fuzzbox, Hughes&Kettner Warp T Distortion Pedal Boss MT2 Metalzone Distortion Pedal lots of stuff, seems like a hopeless gear-slut but everything is rather cheap low-end and used from ebay (except for the Saxophones, these b****es are expensive....), and i'll get rid of the amps soon, since i'm not much of a live-musician but a recording one and nowadays actually recording a loud amp+cabinet is not usefull anymore. good recording preamp (or digital modeling amp) + impulse response gets equal, if not better results. Dreamgear? i guess that mesa boogie rectifier recording preamp might be pretty cool and i'm quite a fan of Gazette Aoi's Guitar 4 Pickups? sweet, too bad its not longscale, don't really like those short necks... so, enough showing off

ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your privates, the day of rapture is here (@chibicco: well it's not "beliefs" but conlusions based on evidence, that's the whole point...)

amidoingthisrite? personal j-indie favourites THE UNIQUE STAR ( http://theuniquestar.com/main.html ) 4I1CGiWk6IA co_RFmaMz2E c7m97hGU_5w so far released two very solid minialbums, all killer no filler (eww, horrible phrase...), split vocals, nice songstructures... highly recommended

just wanted to add, regarding original video (zioooubachi), the guitarist (person with revolver) is a guy aswell... (from http://www.fujirock.com/2010/07/zioooub ... %E8%9C%82/) Edit: *signed

i remember reading that somewhere too. could really help the song since the way it is now it actually feels kind of something is missing, so one or two added minutes with an actual climax could turn this song from "meh" to something beautiful. not sure tho, if they had parts to help the songs suspense, why not putting it in the single?
  13. bonsaijodelfisch

latin cicero quote for album title? don't know what to think about that, but i hope the album's gonna be epic, have high hopes for it... man, just a few weeks before i see them live in bochum, sweet... also, SPYRO F*CKYEAH
  14. bonsaijodelfisch

lol, i really doubt kaoru and die will pull some of that "oh look at how fast i can play my favourite minor-scale"-crap dir en grey would never release a song that boring... *fingerscrossed*
  15. bonsaijodelfisch

^this, "exclamation mark"² (even if i might prefer the warasu guy, that track is just frightenly awesome (although this might be a little bit the result of the drop e guitar tuning...)
  16. bonsaijodelfisch

i quite like the effect aswell if not overused, and it seem here it's pretty well dosed, could become a decent single this, if not for that ridiculous engrish... btw. longer pv-preview, seen on SR JRockupdater (edohsama.blogspot) MQlNPNIGXNc
  17. bonsaijodelfisch

terrible radio quality full song VrYPD7L_t3g in full it actually sounds pretty cool, even if some parts seem uninspired, but i really like that guitar-solo part. uruha sure likes his whammy-pedal...
  18. bonsaijodelfisch

looks kindo cool, nice touch with the error-message behind the drumset, cannot repel awesome of that magnitude perhaps??
  19. bonsaijodelfisch

    Truth. Truth²
  20. bonsaijodelfisch

*exactly my point* while lots of people tend to say they're the same and all copied from bandXY, they just are not (well, some are, but still. that would be like saying every punk band is a ramones/sexpistols/whatever-ripoff)
  21. bonsaijodelfisch

come on, i mean, vocals guitars bass and drums? what an obvious beatles ripoff!!! no seriously i don't think you can put all the droptuned-metalriff-bands into one pot and say the rip each other off (that way black:list, deathgaze, NoGod, .lynch, Gazette, Gregory and tons of other bands including western nu-metal-bands like slipknot would be all ripoffs of each other, with ultimately ending up with korn in 1994 i guess). it's just that these 17 seconds of the preview reallyreally sound like every mildly-heavy gazette-song ever heard, same tempo, same sound, same style of vocals etc... (some have said it sounds alot like hyena, i think its more like the chorus of filth in the beauty, whatever...) but well, the song will have approx. 3mins more of material, lets see if the manage to do something special/interesting there (although in the light of their recent singles i have my doubts)
  22. bonsaijodelfisch

i welcome you my fellow whiney little faggot
  23. bonsaijodelfisch

GOGO GAZETTO GENERIC-ROCKSONG! short preview. nothing surprising here, sounds pretty much like anything else they ever made, but could be good in whole, i'll wait...
  24. bonsaijodelfisch

wow, i personally don't like any of their music-stuff, but this quote is gold!
