Um, I have yogurt that expires in January of 2013. If the world was really ending, they wouldn't have made the date in 2013!

This is awful.

Agreeing with Inartistic and Jigsaw. Even a lot of bands from the time period this band is trying to emulate copied groups that came before them. As someone pointed out in the chatbox, Madeth Gray'll did it to Kuroyume's "Dance 2 Garnet" in "[zwei] super long and complicated 69 title," for example. And Madeth Gray'll is often a source of influence for a lot of ~gothic inspired~ vkei bands today. I listened to their Dead[en]D demo and thought it was alright, so I'm interested to see what other influences their album will draw. Even the cover art kind of looks like "I'll"'s cover, but that might just be me.

That did sound a lot like "Cage." Well, at least it was one of Diru's good songs?????
-
It's been dead since 2002. Sorry.
-
I only liked "Quadrangle," so I'm indifferent about this. Their costumes were gorgeous though.
-
Hope thats better than PROPAGANDA's one LOL Well if it is Sui's face, then it will be since these costumes are gorgeous.
-
Could someone fix the typo in the thread title please?
-
Everyone does realize there are going to be a lot of collection albums in the near future, right?
-
Versailles costumes with D song titles. Interesting.
-
Actually, I was. Yoooouuuu win!!!
-
I really feel like La'royque de zavy really did the whole joke VK band thing better than these guys. Wait
-
Ooohhh I like "Dark Knight" o: So, is Doberman inc. the guy with their weird costume and the girl who has appeared in a few songs? I never really got who they were or what they did for ライチ☆光クラブ other than played some role from the manga the band is based on.

I'll write a review later. Still floored that Kisaki sampled Dvořák in "Over the Rainbow."

Live distributed album?

Versailles because they've completely changed my outlook on music and I like pretentious neoclassical stuff. I don't see how variety would make D better. Yes, their songs are pretty diverse, but all of their diveristy has been done elsewhere (90's melodic-ish song, faux jazz song, soppy ballad, symphonic metal song, generic vkei hard rock song, etc). To be honest, their variety is what made me dislike their recent stuff because they've fallen into a formula of what kind of variety each release holds. Since the Eastern European experiments in the 7th Rose, D has really fallen off for me. They -almost- had me going again at '竜眼の雫,' but the gang vocals weren't in German. Still mad at that. Yeah, Versailles developed an A-side style and they really haven't changed a ton since their first release, but that's kind of like the point of them. Iron Maiden has done it for 30 years and people still buy their music I'd also rather have their expected style to be super fluttery and over dramatic than trying to be super heavy because we are metaru bando. But here's my real reason:
-
I've always liked Lynch. more even though I haven't listened to everything they've ever released. I really liked "Adore" and their "I Believe in Me" era works. I never really got into Deathgaze aside from like 2~3 songs since Groove Metal really is not for me. It's not even a vkei-thing, I don't like Western bands of that genre either.

That cross between La:Sadie's / DAS:VASSER / Madeth Gray'll with Kyouka's squeals was an absolute hot mess. I like this.
-
They sounded kind of lynch.-y mixed with a lot of American alt metal. The could honestly pass for a normal band in that scene and they sound like a lot of the stuff they play at the gym at school.

I'll write a full review eventually, but this has to be one of the best albums released on UCP. The only song I didn't like was 'Iro no Nai Sekai' (hey gais that trans*lates into 'colorless warudo!!'), even though I love obnoxious genre mashes. For some reason, I thought that in this particular case it was a train wreck that I couldn't love...and I do love a lot of train wreck songs (like E'm~grief~'s 'Dokuhaku no sora'). The synth parts in it were cool, but I absolutely hate fake jazz more than I already dislike real jazz. From only a few listens, my favorite songs are 'Kanashimi no chi ni saku hana,' 'Death Parade,' and 'Kurui hateta genjitsu ni mita sekai.' I also love how melodramatic all of the Japanese song titles are. In short, 110,000,000 x better than Suzaku and Cu[be]'s albums. You know why? Because they took a year to release it without 2100033424328192051 singles. Sure, it had 4 instrumentals, but only 2 re-releases (one of which was rarezzz). None of this 1~3.5 new songs crap from Vior Gloire.

Also, according American Kisaki, Cu[be] isn't so much leaving the label but were actually kicked off? https://twitter.com/we_love_ucp/status/ ... 6707048450
