Album art (regular, limited): I actually like both. I feel the gilded red one works well for being a limited pressing, and the regular album are is simple, direct, lives up to its name, and has a creepy skull in the middle of the rose.

Also, contributing to the awkward bathroom head shots.

Btw, Josh, post your chef pic here [2]

Interesting names. "Became Trash PV" and "Barren." Are live distributed material usually free if they don't specify a price?

I thought yuuna was retiring?

Good. He didn't like the persona he created as Juka and his efforts as "Shaura" proved that he couldn't really do anything that wasn't faux goth. I'd rather he retire and not ruin anything else for me than continue a career of flop musical experiments. As I'm sure he's learned, he can only be unfruitful for so long before his fan base deteriorates.

They didn't sound bad, but I wasn't floored by their previews either.

And so begins the Phantasmagoria release trend. Is this version of their album rerecorded or just becoming available to buy again?

Interested!

Was expecting fake goth

I'm not sure if this forum is the correct place for this thread: I honestly feel it would be better to put this inside a thread specifically for BGFTNS since you're specifically talking about getting their release. However, this does bring up another thread idea that could become a sticky if it is really useful: a joint order coordination thread. Similar to what you're asking to do, but a general place for people to coordinate ordering multiple types of cds to ensure they get all of the songs available without having to break the bank for a b-side. Would anyone else find this thread useful?

Dada and Kenzi love them though, so I don't think they're going anywhere anytime soon, even if they didn't have an in with Warner.

Kind of. But not really. The event is not as relevant it used to be though. Celine Dion was found from this contest The only reason I've heard of it is because t.a.t.u. lost one year for pretending to be lesbians and were very upset. Each limited edition version of "Dangerous and Moving" came with a vial of their tears to show they meant it.

Is Eurovision like American idol but for all of the irrelevant little countries in Eastern Europe?

Maybe visual-kei is dead after all.

Turns out that this lady was schizophrenic.

http://www.mediaite.com/online/terrifyi ... rant-ever/ Modern day prophet. Also not really safe for work.

I'm pretty sure Misa is not the only bald Japanese guy who wears sunglasses.

Japan is a weird place.

When there wasn't any jap-rap or vocal doubling, that wasn't actually that bad. It was closer to his solo work than DEViL KiTTY though, which I half expected (wasn't expecting anything like Chateau La Tour or Kar'MariA). Not entirely sure what the significance of making sashimi in the video was, but I cannot help but feel like its making fun of things like Nega's "Muddy Cult" music video. Loved the "you get what you pay for" (10 cents for a single?) irony as well.

I've only listened to the album twice, so I don't really know it well enough to really write a full review yet. Overall, I liked the album even though I had no expectations for it since they announced its release way too early to keep my attention. Not so strangely enough, the only songs on there I didn't really care for were the ones already released: Oath, Aura, Wail, and Cynthia. I feel like their a-sides have a typical format since their drummer left and they're usually hit-or-miss with me (mostly misses). Thankfully, their magic still lies within their b-sides, which has been a common trait since their first album was released. Based on a few listens, I think Spell of Mystery-Vague Japanese Sentence- is my favorite new song.

Hopefully they can afford a real orchestra for the new version of "Red Carpet Day." Also, is ayakashi the correct romanization of "妖?" I looked it up in a dictionary and the only correct pronunciation close to that was "妖しい" (ayashii), meaning "charming; bewitching; mysterious." For "ayakashi," it didn't have have any kanji listed and the meaning was mostly different (except for the second definition): " 1: ghost that appears at sea during a shipwreck; 2: something strange or suspicious; 3: idiot; fool; 4: noh mask for roles involving dead or ghost characters"

I'm going to ask that all comments in this thread remain positive and do not use the current situation as a means of entertainment via snide comments. Although kentz is not deceased, it is to be expected that replies here respect his current dilemma and are not used to springboard an internet popularity facade. There is a distinct line between light hearted or off colored humor and being disrespectful in a completely uncalled for environment. Honestly.

The next dum spiro spero :-* Hope they get back on their feet soon.
