To be fair, their stuff before signing to UCP was a lot better and this label really didn't do a whole lot for them aside from having the resources to release a full album (with 1 new song...). I wonder what he did.

If they were on Sherow they wouldn't have to feel obligated to going back to a Metis Gretel [-Fairy Tale Gothikku-] theme just because it was a formal label of two of the members. They are two completely different bands, and even Megaro's early stuff is rather different from MG in spite of what all of their original fans want to believe. The only 'theme' Sherow really had was an quasi aristocratic thing that not every band signed to it followed, which Megaromania would fall under without needing to change much. Although, agreeing with Fleur de Neige. A couple songs on Artistical Glint did seem a bit darker than songs prior, but it's still crying wolf if you're saying they're now Metis Gretel 2.

Not entirely surprised by this and kind of planned on them doing that since they announced the closing of the label.

This is their...3rd, 4th label? At least this one sounds like they're completely in control of it, so maybe this means they'll keep up with their more regular release schedule.

I honestly don't like Kouki either. Even in Mist of Rouge I didn't really like him, and they're a kote-kei purist favorite.

Well, there's a reason why none of these tracks were on Dragon Hearts tbh. Only songs I really like are 'fantasia' and 'crash.' I might consider getting the regular edition eventually for the new song, but that feeling of "YESS I NEED THIS" is not happening.

Sort of gothic with Akira Mirage, or melodic rock / channeling Baiser with Tomo Mirage?

He/she was talking about old Gazette, not VK in general. In a few words, old Gazette > new Gazette. DISORDER, MADARA and the single with zetsu/Miseinen are still their best releases imo. He also kind of implied both. The only nostalgic thing for me about the GazettE was talking to my friend Sadah in school about them since she really liked them (this was the 12th grade). I also remember seeing 'the gazette is not dead' plastered all over youtube and went through a small, yet highly embarrassing, nose-tie phase. I never really got into them except for when another friend showed me a few of their songs. I may have been trying to impress her by liking it, but the only song that really stuck with me was "$ocial Riot Machine$." Aside from that, I hold no emotional attachment to them whatsoever.

I am going to have nightmares of Tokkiy in the shower now.

I actually liked this album. Granted it is lame that there were so few new songs, I did love all of the single tracks. However, a re-recorded intro? Really? I think my favorite song is "Edge of the World" for how not them it is. It sounded really generic from the samples, but the song itself is a hell of a lot more interesting, and the Arabic thing going on in the middle is really cool. I'll write a fuller review in probably 3 years since I'm so busy.

I thought Speeddisk closed once Tomozo formed a new label (that died really quickly after)?
