Gone Girl - really well made movie with a plot that keeps getting more and more ridiculously infuriating as it goes on. It brings to light how the media spins people's emotions during tragedy and how easy it is for people to use this to their advantage. Plus, Ben Affleck looks great in it, but that's not really the point of the movie... Neil Patrick Harris seems to be very bloody in 2014.

Devil's Knot. I actually liked it and am assuming it was based on a true story (haven't actually looked up how much of it was real and how much was Hollywood). However, if you're the kind of person who doesn't like being mad at the outcome of a movie, I wouldn't recommend watching.

They just stopped recording what they were working on because the person who was producing them died, but obviously they picked up where they left off a little later and finished up. Lin could still potentially not release anything new until they find a new sound producer, but I don't think they intended to halt all live activities for any extended amount of time.

In retrospect, I think them announcing all of their releases for the year at once made it seem like a lot more than it actually was (especially since their mini album only has an SE as a new song, and the rest were rerecordings). They may I have done that knowing he was planning on leaving around the end of the year.
