HIZUMI must be recovering a little because he is recording vocals for the chorus of an as yet undetermined source, presumably he is featuring on a friend's track. He doesn't specify who, only that he thinks most fans will know. So, speculations~ Judging by who he is friends with in the industry, who do you think it is?

It could be D, MUCC, defspiral, 9GOATS, abingdon boys school... The list is almost endless! Maybe it's someone unknown! Could he be participating in that... upcoming Daisuke release? I don't know much about that.

• post-punk that's slightly sleazy/gritty

• whale song, whether it is on its own or in the middle of a metal/rock track as I am a geek for marine biology and cetacea

• songs about or inspired by the sea in general

• synth (and sampling, especially in metal/rock), bonus points if it's bouncy, sexy, or creepy

• carnival inserts too, or circus-freak-innuendo, or death marches, dictatorial bellowing, parades, etc

• jarring lyrics, poetic lyrics

• raw vocals

• jazz, blues, funk, flamenco, unusual or unconventional instruments in metal. I'm a sucker for the "avant-garde", actually, so anything that throws a million genres into one song and makes it work gets me hot.

• a girl, her voice, and her guitar

• gregorian chanting

• cow bells, bongos, steel drums, mellotrons and tamborines

This sort of thing isn't too uncommon. Guitarists and bassists have sold their guitars before, right? I wonder how fans of smaller bands can even afford this, though.

I really, really hate people who hack and try to justify it, or use custom firmware because to basically cheat at a game - or, in extreme cases, this. It's appalling, but even more so that Sony is useless at protecting itself against hackers and always has been.

And I wasn't aware that Visual Kei was a phenomenon outside of Japan o_O

It's not, really, there are maybe a couple of bands created by fans of visual kei who either cover visual kei bands, try to sing in Japanese or ocassionally write their own music. Most of them are European and most of them suck.

Seriously, she used to have some meat on her and it was fine, no one specifically commented on it or called her fat; this weight loss and the fact that she is ever trying to appear skinny because it's "vogue" is pissing me off. She has legions of fans who are going to want to imitate her. It's not sexy, it's gross and has been happening since she released Bad Romance.

I don't see the point in it having two cameras. Who wants a camera in a gaming console? I already have a camera. I also hate how there will be no physical media or UMDs. Because 1) That's why the Go sucked and 2) It encourages piracy. Thought you were trying to put a stop to that, Sony. Way to go. Touchscreen would be useless to be in gaming.

It is supposed to be a "Next Generation Portable" and a lot of portables have a camera for pictures and video on the back and video chatting on the front.

The games will be on "new media," not just as digital downloads.

But you see, in my opinion, (portable) consoles do not require cameras. If I want to record a video, I'll use a video camera. If I want to take photos, I'll use a camera. If I want to video chat, I'll use a cell phone or a computer. I want to use a portable console to play games, you know? Not to take photos or video chat.

I wish these companies would stop adding unneccessary features.

As someone who hates not owning physical copies of games/discs (like CDs, movies, what have you), this is a big, big no no for me. The fact that it can play PS3 games is a bonus, though. It would tempt me into buying it if nothing else did. I've seen how Monster Hunter plays on it, too, and that makes me want one. I love the menu and the social aspect. But I don't know if it's going to be worth it is all.

The only thing that appeals to me is... I love new gadgets, it can allegedly run PS3 games, it has two analog sticks, the location-based entertainment intrigues me and the graphics will be nicer. But it's going to cost a fortune and it doesn't seem worth it to me for an extra analog stick and pretty games.

I'll probably get it because I'm a hopeless tech geek and I just sold my original PSP. That is if it doesn't cost an outrageous amount at release.

Well, I'm not sad that they're disbanding, but I did enjoy their music. Here's to the members finding new bands (most probably will). I hope nothing is seriously cripplingly wrong with Hideto...

I watched it on youtube, but even through the 3 frames a second quality, it was an eggciting performance. I'm glad it went well and that she didn't scramble up the lyrics.
