  1. And Le'veil's demotape has been on Yahoo Auctions for months now, but it's 25,000 yen or thereabouts and the seller is showing no signs of lowering the price. I'd buy it myself but I need money for moving house.

I did get Dieur Mind for 9,000 yen at mbok.jp, though. You're not likely to find them being sold elsewhere, so your best bet would be to keep checking back there. Same with D'espairsRay's VHS tapes. Although those are more common and show up all the time. kein releases are being sold on mbok.jp right now too.

Thank you for information, but I can't buy at Japanese shops, which don't sell oversea. Do you know any middleman, who would purchase something at auctions in my name?

Yep! There are a lot of them. There's a thread with a list of shopping services who will do your bidding for you here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=6438&p=103915

  3. Vidoll members session will perform at Takadanobaba AREA at 2011/04/12, which will play Slipknot "spit it out" & one Vidoll song

    session members:

    Vo.Eros (XodiacK)

    Gt.ギル(giru) (Vidoll)

    Gt.??国貴裕(murakuni takahiro)

    Ba.ラメ(rame) (Vidoll)

    Dr.零??(reika) (ドレミ團(doremidan))

    Well... That's odd.

  4. I don't believe personally he's tired of DEATHGAZE. The rest of the members would have said something by now if there was any indication that they might be due disbandment, but for the most part they're being supportive of Ai.

I mean, DEATHGAZE is Ai's baby. He's worked his butt off for this band for years, through every disaster, he's been striving to keep DEATHGAZE alive. I doubt he would give it up so thoughtlessly (ie: deleting his blog with no warning and only explaining why afterwards). I think the best thing for fans to do is to wish him well and leave him be. He doesn't seem like the sort of person who wants everyone to worry about him.

It really sounds more like he's trying to sort some personal problems out, like he's weary, depressed, and needs to relax.

Here's to hoping disbandment isn't the outcome of this.

    pv song. MONEY UP!

Well... I thought mine turned out quite well! Which I guess isn't the point of the game. How many of these can we do? It's fun.

PS. I'd never heard of that picnick.com site and it's going to prove extremely useful, thanks!

  6. I usually never do, but if I see a dog suffering I can't help but to cry. I watched Hachiko - A Dog's Story last weekend and cried my eyes off for the last 20 minutes of the movie. Couldn't take it.

Yes, I'm definitely a dog person.

This is me in a nut shell. I love dogs so much. I think the only movies I have cried over where dog movies...I bawl like a baby, it's kind of funny....but I just can't help it, even if the movie wasn't that great, it just hits me right my emotional center-point.

Thirded. Because I knew exactly what was going to happen in Hachiko, too, I was bawling right from the beginning onward. And to make matters worse my dog came up and "hugged" me while I was watching it, which made me cry even more! Even as I type this I have one of my dogs in my face attempting to see what I'm doing and "snuffling" at me. I love them, oftentimes they're deemed stupid, but I've never known an animal more loyal, intuitive, or friendly than a dog.

When I'm upset, these two big, boisterous canines relax and sprawl out right beside me with their heads in my lap or tucked into my neck/shoulder area until I feel better. Boxers are also famous for being comedians. They're hilarious dogs, partly because of their appearance and partly because they're so goofy and playful, they're like big kids.

Sometimes I wish I could have a cat, too, because I adore Scottish Fold cats and exotic ones, like Sphynx cats, but Roxy hates them. :(

    This is Roxy.

I don't really have pictures of Floyd because he's so gormless now that he's bigger and never sits still long enough for me to take a picture.

  7. Ah, I missed that part! I understand now. I thought it might be because of the content of the movies, a lot of people who cringe at or feel sick because of these movies end up hating them because of it and calling them "bad."

Requiem for a Dream isn't quite as bad as some of the others, I noticed.

Again if anyone is a fan of these movies, they might want to try Meatgrinder. I thought that film was greeeeeeeeeeeat.

  8. So, are the movies in the first post listed because of the gruesome factor or because they're actually considered to be bad movies? Because I liked most of them. But then I am a fan of gore/horror/b-movies, so... Ichi the Killer and Irreversible were awesome films.

The only film I wish I could unsee is Twilight.

And the Sex and the City movies.

And the Guinea Pig series of films.

Hostel because it's just horrific and takes itself too seriously.

And a film I can't recall the name of, but it was a gore/splatter film directed by a Canadian(?) about a guy who sought revenge on everyone who put him in prison (which they chose to do instead of killing him, I think, can't remember). I hated it just because it was so terrible and there was baby/animal death in it.

  9. I see. So you're more of a Post-Metal boy/girl? What about Sludge such as Melvins, Eyehategod, Grief and such? The originals, to say. Raw, filthy, dirty Sludge the way it used to be?

Cult of Luna are probably my favourites as well together with Eyehategod, Isis and Grief.

Girl! And basically yes. Although I like Eyehategod and Melvins, as well as Weedeater and Iron Monkey and so on, ultimately I'm probably drawn more toward the atmospheric sort. But it's really rare for me to hear sludge I don't like, or that doesn't give me chills.

What would you recommend by Grief?

  10. And what kind of Sludge is that? Eyehategod's "Dopesick"? Cult of Luna's "The Beyond"? Isis' "Oceanic"? Iron Monkey's "Our Problem"?

I love as well. Both the atmospheric stuff such as Cult of Luna and Isis and the raw power such as EyeHateGod and Iron MOnkey.

Cult of Luna = absolute favourites. I do love Neurosis, Isis, Amenra and Old Man Gloom. Battle of Mice, too, get right under my skin.

  11. -When people are "fans" of a band but never buy their music, never actively follow them, and actually only listen to one song of theirs and are insulted when you show them their current music.

    This. It infuriates me.

Also my signature is adorably entrancing.

  12. Bad growling/harsh vocals. Either you do it right, or you don't.

    Autotune

Random rapping where it doesn't fit.

These, although I might change it to excessive autotune. If used correctly and not to mask horrendous lack of talent, then it's not so bad.

Um, as for my own contributions... I hate cheesy lyrics. If the song is cheesy, cheesy lyrics are fine. If it's not and it's a legitimate attempt to be poetic or offensive but just sounds cheesy, I hate it.

Emphasising 'fuck' like it's in the song because swearing is cool.

Katy Perry. Not so much a pet peeve as outright rage

Warbling. Bad vibrato (or as doe put it "over-vibrato"). The staple of VK. I hate it. Vocalists that try too hard. Also that cheap-sounding, "my drumkit is shit", clipping, "clanging" thing. Too braindead to explain it more eloquently.

Oshare kei. And I generally dislike most music described as "___core". I tend to avoid it. That's about it. :urg:

  13. There aren't many animals I hate. I'm not big on insects or bugs but if they stay away from me, it's not a problem. Unless it's a large arachnid. Then it's time for me to flee the country. I am terrified of big spiders. I am forever grateful that I live in the UK and our spiders don't come quite as gigantic as, for example, Australia. Otherwise I love them all and consider myself to be something of an animal rights activist.

Favourite animals are dogs, whales (specifically beluga whales), octopi, lizards and horses. I've always kept dogs as pets, though, since I was a child. Due to a lot of drama and having to move to a different city, I had to find some of my pets new homes, but currently I still have a snowflake moray eel, a bearded dragon and two Boxers.

  14. Could he be participating in that... upcoming Daisuke release? I don't know much about that.

What? I haven't heard of this..

大佑??黒??隠者??(daisuke to kuro no injatachi) new album "漆黒??光(shikkoku no hikari)" will be released at 2011/04/20 (2 TYPE)

(For information you can search for it here) There was a list of artists who are participating in the recording of it, including a bunch of vocalists, so people were guessing the tracks were unfinished and his friends were finishing them for him, maybe as a tribute? Well, Hizumi wasn't listed as one of the musicians specifically, but he could be!
