  1. Besides Tenten, Maria Cross and Danchou are there other porn movie/pictures related to J-rockers around the interwebz ?

If so, can you please share ?

And did anyone ever upload those Maria Cross' movies ? I haven't ever seen anything other than censored pictures of his dick.

Yes, there are quite a few of indies musicians.

Obviously if a popular musician had any sort of sextape they would be more discreet.

Do you know where I may dowbload/see it ?

    2ch, tanuki.

Why would you want to watch nobody musicians having sex though? Watch amateur porn instead!

  3. I sort of want Dynasty Warriors 7 but if it's still online focused then fuck it, I don't know anyone else who plays it and I'd hate to get stuck on my own half way through the way I did with Strikeforce. /ramble

    I am plaaaaying:

    Fable I, II and III

    ilomilo because d'aw :'D

    Portal 2

    aaaaaand Outland.

  4. It's for a good cause, so who cares if it's his own bid or not.

    This.

I am curious, though, whether it's a diehard fan purchasing this (and if that's the case - how do they have so much money?), another musician who is well off and happens to be a fan, a random pianist who wants a crystal piano and is happy to donate millions to charity... It's really quite amazing!

  5. Still remain one of my favourite bands, Mikael Åkerfeldt still remains one of my favourite vocalists. Super excited to hear him on Devin Townsend's new release as well.

I haven't listened to much after Damnation, but I definitely wouldn't go as far as to say they suck. I fucking love them.

  6. HMV Japan is having a couple of sales right now, one is special offer for online customers and the other is multi buy sale, so I bought D'espairsRay's upcoming releases from there and it was relatively inexpensive for both the BEST OF and the DVD.

Won two auctions for some cheki (HIZUMI) and Cat fisT's OBSCURITY single.

  7. Even though I'm not surprised about it, I must say I am disappointed that it's already all over the internet; forums, websites, torrents. Who can't spare a couple of dollars for charity? I mean, really.

I didn't even like the song that much and I bought it anyway. :|

  8. I really want to hear more from this Anneke van Giersbergen!

Would her solo project be a good place to start?

Yes, absolutely! If you want to try her solo music, I'd recommend the album "Air" first and foremost.

But since The Gathering is my second favourite band, I recommend them as well, they just might not be your cup of tea. :P Oh and!

(fragile and not as trained as some of the others, but it somehow works perfectly with bossa nova. ps: ignore her scary cat eyes in this video)

    This was really great!

^ The girl on Ki is Ché Aimee. She does her own acoustic stuff aside from that.

Reeeeeeeeeeaaaally. I need to find some of this acoustic stuff.

Number one, for ever and for always, Anneke van Giersbergen:

    E1oivrKIr-k

I've been smitten with her voice since I listened to the song Morphia's Waltz by The Gathering a decade ago. I was devastated when she left the band, but delighted to discover that shortly after leaving she went "solo." She has a voice that is suited to all genres, that is versatile, that commands attention and is equal parts powerful and understated. I can't contain my excitement when I babble about her, she is so magical.

Here is a live cover of the infamous "Jolene" with Anathema's own Danny Cavanagh. And

which I feel highlights her ability exceptionally.

    &

    • Marcela Bovio (of experimental rock outfit
    , symphonic metal band
    & neofolk/darkwave
    ).
She has a typical "Spanish" voice. It's sultry, seductive and theatrical in Stream of Passion and ethereal and exotic in Elfonía and ?on. I recommend listening to either of those first.
    Ihriel (of experimental/black metal band
    & solo project
    , wife of Ihsahn)
Her voice is out of this world, I can't describe it. It's an acquired taste. Sometimes it is heavenly, sometimes is downright unpleasant to listen to, but... I love it.
    Astrid van der Veen (solo,
    &
    )
So, so underrated. Especially her solo material. And for such a young girl, she has such an intense voice. It gives me chills. She has a lot of talent and she should have more fans, bless her.
Silje Wergeland (now in The Gathering, once in doom/gothic metal band
    )
She gets a lot of stick since she had big shoes to fill. Initially I wasn't going to listen to new music by The Gathering, but she does the band justice and is an excellent replacement for Anneke. She fits them perfectly. She has a lovely voice that is sort of soothing to the ear.
    Julie Christmas (of noise-rock
    & the short-lived sludge/post-metal Battle of Mice)
A sheer, raw, powerful voice completely drenched in emotion that rips into your skin and stays there like some kind of disgusting parasite you learn to love and live with symbiotically.

Others outside of the realm of metal and rock:

    (!!!!!)

Tori Amos - A Sorta Fairytale

    Clare Maguire - Ain't Nobody (!!!!)

Woo, this could have been so much longer (_ _) I love Siouxsie Sioux and Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac), too, but they're not exactly "favourite" status. Ji-In Cho (Krypteria), Magali Luyten (Virus IV), Dominique Persi (Stolen Babies) and the girl on Devin Townsend Project's "Ki" album. I don't know her name, though.

  10. Oh, a boasting thread!

I'm especially proud of my D'espairsRay collection. It's kept in multiple silver boxes, most of it still in its original wrapping, so nothing gets damaged. I own basically everything they've released with the exception of a couple of VHS tapes, a demotape, and the regular edition of GEMINI, which is proving to be more elusive than decade old limited edition singles were! The D'espairsRay release I'm most proud of is either the RAZOR demotape, which cost a fortune, the limited edition of the 10th Anniversary live with the photobook and t-shirt, or the limited edition of murder day.

Another thing I'm proud of, despite the shittiness of the music itself, is managing to buy Dieur Mind's demotape, Blue, from mbok for a little under 9,000 yen with Christmas money two years ago. I have never seen it show up since and at the time I was torn between it or a second hand alice auaa jacket from Closet Child.

And my merry go round CDs. I don't own their discography (only about 8 releases) and they're not exactly difficult to find at auction, I just really like them. Although when my sister was drunk she spilt cider all over one of them. |D That's when I decided to start keeping everything in boxes out of harm's way.

I'm proud of most of my Ayreon CDs, too, because they're all limited edition and my copy of Katatonia's Last Fair Deal Gone Down was signed by the band, so that's dear to me too.
