This guy must be really hard to work with. I mean, weren't people saying Deluhi disbanded because he didn't want to play anymore? Now his other band disbands and continues without him...lol
-
Needs more depression. I miss Homura Uta-like stuff.Didn't Miya say once that they got rid of depressive theme a long time ago? I mean, they haven't been fussing with it ever since Kyuutai
The only album which was actually dark was probably kuchiki no tou, and it was that dark because they wrote it during a time where the band was almost breaking up.
The rest is pretty much varied. They have the darker and lighter moments. For shangrila, for example, Tatsuro has tweeted many times he was writing dark lyrics.

Well, you guys should go listen to the 3 dvd songs, if you haven't yet. They're probably the closer to what the album is going to sound we're getting(Stella, Brer Rabbit, Kaze to Taiyo)... and they've already said on interviews it's going to be like Karma but with more guitars. So I bet it's going to sound somehow as varied as Gokusai.

Covers are up on the website too. They follow Arcadia's and Mother's style.
-
Yeah, they already confirmed there's going to be a pv on their facebook.

Great to see another 90's band back!
-
Wow, those dudes are fast.
By the way, there's this one too

Yuana is on a decent band again, wooooooooooooooooooooooohooo

Hmm this brings up something else and it would be the fact the meaning of VK has dissapeared completely... I'm seriously going to make a kotekote oldschool VK band and bring back Matina/Key Party/Anarchist themes •________ •Considering how this happens with other music scenes(post punk and synthpop lo-fi bands showing up recently, for example) I'm still surprised some lo-fi kotekote kei scene hasn't started. I believe it would be a decent way to revive the scene: going back to the basics. No dance-metalcore-electronic-nu-metal stuff, just oldschool with shit recordings all the way.

Thanks! I wish I could hear his solo stuff but I can't find it on the web :/

I really do not know what to make of this, if I'm being honest.I remember when the project was first announced and I had no idea what to think of it and even now that it's allegedly to be unveiled and something is going to be done about it I still really don't know what it's supposed to do.
Is it Sugizo on guitar, Yoshiki on drums/piano... Then who on bass? Will there be one vocalist or many? Male or female? American or Japanese?
Then I recall how MUCH Yoshiki tweets about being in the studio. SOMETHING is going to release next year, so I guess it's going to be this... But he's ALSO been talking a LOT about SKIN... So that could definitely be happening next year also... What I wonder mostly, though, is what is happening with X itself? Is that band really just done? It sounded like they have a good album judging by their recent three singles if they'll all be on this alleged album.
I think Yoshiki is an amazing artist, but he just doesn't seem to know what direction to go in.
Well, miyavi tweeted the other day he wanted to make Skin happen again, so I really doubt skin is happening now, maybe they're going to reunite. X Japan has been recording their album for quite a time, same goes for Violet UK. Violet uk is composed by Yoshiki + female vocals from many different Yoshiki-girls, and they're all not-japanese, if I remember well. This is more or less a Yoshiki solo project. So you'd probably expect some pretty random musicians to join the album, I guess.

The song in the trailer was awesome. Now if it's actually going to be released is what I doubt. By the way it's really reminding me of X Japan's more industrial stuff but with Sugizo's guitar on it - wonderful.
I really hope Yoshiki gets his ass out of his chair this time

Does anyone know the origin of this song? -
the cover/ band picture is cool
I don't think they should be called vk anymore, though. Their look is as visual as Crossfaith or coldrain.
The song is better than IC, I didn't find it anything special though

Minato is a weird guy.
He left Dead End because they went on a direction he didn't like, but then he comes and plays on Creature Creature's album which has a style that isn't that different from Dead End's
-
On setlist.fm it says the last time they played it (Sangeki no Yoru version, even) was on 2001.
Maybe you're confusing it with Karma or Myaku, which they played on recent years
-
They will probably make the song death metal like they did with zan
you never know with these guys though
-
I love the standard, the other one is retarded lol
-
With Mucc it makes sense considering two of the last singles also went with similar themes (Arcadia and Nirvana titles)

New album "Shangrila" release on November 28th. Mother single cover also available on their homepage.

Mother short radio rip, sounds great -
Oh man, the way they recorded this... lol, house recordings
so 90's poorman's vk
-
I liked the keyboard solo and guitar solo. Cool stuff

A movie filming one of their lives could be cool, but a biographic movie about their early days would be even better

^do you even VK?
I mean, this isn't even as bad as some bands do. Sometimes there's 5 versions with 5 different b-sides on each ~buy them all~
Visual kei works more like a trading card game than a music scene
