For me personally, when I think of 'new' VK, I imagine the post-2005 stuff mostly, where VK started to get heavily dominated by nu-metal and (eventually) metalcore-ish elements. And I hate it. I prefer the older, more post-punk/goth/new wave-influenced bands from the older VK scene before that. (And the ones that are still around)

old ART-SCHOOL is great too (up to their 3rd full album, after that it gets less great but still okay. Nowadays their vocalist can't really sing anymore though) Syrup16g is pretty tootin' as well, somewhat depressing though. the band apart are also funky though they sing in hella engrish

Oblivion Whelp, I only really went to see it 'cuz haven't been to the cinema in like a month. I think I should've gone to another movie. Visually it's pretty amazing and all, but the story itself is just a total 'typical Sci-Fi' mess without any depth or interesting characters or anything. Also the last part of the movie sort of reminded me of 2001: A Space Odyssey in a bad way
